How are you all?

I'm very much alive, if barely. Kids. There's a reason why adults are exhausted all the time, have white hair, and have lost their hearing...

I have a Discord, but I use it so rarely I don't remember what the account is. I can't keep up with the whippersnappers and their newfangled appetizers.

Kids I understand, though. Got three of those now myself.

Lots of life upheaval for me right now (new house after 7 years, new job after 8 ) but it's all good. Just hectic. You?

I’ve got a 6 and nearly-3 year old. The second thinks he’s the first born and has the attitude to match. It’s crazy at times.

I went through similar upheaval a couple years ago. A job promotion/lateral move and a new house, all before the pandemic. It was actually great timing since we had more space for the kids during lockdown.

It’s all good, as you said!

Wish I had more time and energy for writing though. I do miss that hobby!

I have two grown kids, daughter (married) 27, and and my son 31 who's getting married, and lastly my youngest daughter is 16, driving and will be a Junior this year. So that is what really took me away from Exodus, as you all are experiencing. Life really does grab hold at a certain age, and all the responsibilities that it brings.

For whatever reason, I’ve always envisioned you as an older grandfather type. Not sure why, perhaps it was your avatar.

It’s good to see your kids doing well and mostly all grown. Given their age, I take it you’re not 80 but closer to late-40s.

And Nich, you’re absolutely right. There is a direct correlation with having kids and the decline of my hobbies.

I will be 57 this year. I actually look closer now to my avatar, than perhaps ever. My beard is almost all gray now, and my hair is like a reverse mountain, white on the sides and it's moving upwards rapidly. LOL

My youngest is 10, my eldest is 14. She's starting her GCSEs next year, he'll be in his last year of Primary School. My apologies if this nomenclature makes sense to you, my American friends.
