Double-Blind OOC

Post by Pryde »

This OOC is for a thread I plan to start soon. The story is about two sisters, both smugglers and their whacky adventures. It's a starship docu-drama... Okay, not really. It's more like Firefly meets Star Wars with the added twist that the sisters were inspired by Frozen. One has the Force, one doesn't. I'd like to keep participation in this thread low for the time being. I've already approached a few people about possibly participating so I'll wait to see their response before progressing any further.

Oh, almost forgot. Just in case there's any confusion Kothal is a small urban settlement on the planet Lothal in the Outer Rim. If you're noticing that they look and sound very similar it's probably because people in the Star Wars universe are apparently very unimaginative. The capital city of Lothal is called Capital City, which I think gets my point across fairly succinctly. ><

For the convenience of everyone I've been conversing with via PM I deliberately left the first post open for people to decide whether they're already part of the crew or just signing up... Well, except for Scarlett's sister, I guess. She's definitely already part of the crew. :P

Absolutely, this is definitely time for a good talk, and/or humorous talk between the sisters. I'm intrigued to see how Gwen will respond. Besides... Andile's out of the picture until food is available and already cooked for him ;)

Should we ready a mission or destination? Also, who is piloting the ship?

I'm sorry, guys, I'll have something up for this soon. Been helping the family with some home improvement stuff and we're almost done... I think. I've never actually built a wall before... >.>

Stuff happens... you are fine. :) Some of us have things that pull us away from this exciting Exodus universe.

Okay, sooo I got it. Next planet we land on we run afoul of a prize hunter. This guy's looking to hunt the most dangerous game and he's going to think he found that game in Gwen. So in short he'll capture the two girls on their way to a deal or on their way back from a deal (either one) and then proceed to use Scarlett to convince Gwen to play his little game. Meanwhile the rest of the crew decides something is wrong and they come and eventually rescue Scarlett who tells them all about the crazy hunter man. Then we all run off to rescue Gwen.

Also figure this guys sporting some kind of old ballistics rifle like the kind the sand people use and a mean Coruscanti accent.

... Or he could be a redneck, who knows? Aaand we'll probably be on Felucia.

That would be awesome. I think we can include in that information the sister's plan for the next planet. That way there is an idea of what is supposed to happen. Plus Sabine and Aldine need to have a good merc to merc talk. You know, establish the pecking order.

Don't know if we have time for a pecking order. Our schedule's a bit tight. Tell you what, I'll talk it over with Gwen and see what we can do. :P

Alright, Enriler, you're up. I'll stall Scarlett for a bit so you guys can get on with your, you know, pecking order thing. ;)

My post will be up soon. I apologize, I got sick at comicon and have been fighting extreme heartburn/acid reflux as well as a constantly running nose. But I will begin establishing the pecking order.

I think he just poured himself some water. Unless Tevraki whiskey is clear then I guess you could make that assumption. :P

He said "clear?" I thought he poured from a non-labeled container?

There are deeper motivations. I haven't quite worked it out but stuff happened in the past and now we're here. The sisters don't really like to talk about it... Whatever it is. (It may involve the First Order. Gwen is Force Sensitive and is pretty much right in their sights. They're going to be a problem for us eventually.)

As a side note, if the girls aren't willing to talk about it Andile probably isn't either. Just thought I should mention that before you posted. There's a deeper story line beneath the surface and it all has to do with the Twins' past... Which is still in the works. >.>

Sorry, I ended up using Andile more than I initially intended to. If you need any of his dialogue altered at all just let me know and I'll edit it in.
