Let me start off first that I hold no ill will towards any of the folks in this forum in a personal sense. Anything I post in this discussion is aimed at the changes in question here. Having said that, I would like to note that moderators and administrators shouldn’t be making comments in a discussi...

The only things that can be upgraded on a laptop are the RAM, hard drive, and optical drive, assuming you have a modular bay. They are no where near as versatile as a desktop in their capability to shift with technology trends. In regards to the Windows running on a Mac issue, the main problem there...

The Core Duo chips will be shipping in other laptops as well, its just a matter of time until they are incorporated into the lineups of Dell, HP, Toshiba, etc... However, the MacBook Pro is a heck of a laptop if you have the money for it, OS X aside. It's a significant performance gain over the form...

Looks good Neuge, but you might want to change the "Community News" heading from October 2004 to the current date, I completely overlooked the changes for a few seconds. It would be very easy for a visitor to see the headline and do the same.

For those of you who want more from the demo, you can find a couple of mods here that unlock some of the 'unbuildable' parts of the brief campaign... I know at least one of them gives you command of Mon Calamari Star Cruisers :D .

Yeah, I'm getting similar download speeds from CNET's Download.com. I've also joined a queue in the Fileplanet servers, but I'm 44th in the line.

Correction: I've got 44 minutes left to start downloading... I'm actually 588th in line. Almost better off doing the 10 kb/s..
