Umm, not sure timeline-wise how much i could help, but I do have a character in the Rebellion at this time, that could act like a liaison or something. I'm begin vague because I haven't checked out the thread, but I can. My character could be off-duty, or working as a recruiter, or just be on loan t...

David Scott Winters checked the power pack on his rifle. He slammed it back into place, satisfied. He turned confidently to his partner, Warrick Lo and smiled, "Ready?" Lo nodded and hit the thrusters on the speeder and they were off. David adjusted the sights and let his eyes settle on the speeding...

Sounds good. And I've played that game and mission before so I'm familiar with what you're talking about. I'll make a few posts about mercenary stuff and whenever you start getting to that scenario I'll drag myself into it.

Here's the kicker. My character at this point I think is still a mercenarie and has yet to be noticed by the Rebellion, or at inducted. Should I post in the thread with my meanderings out in the universe and then drag him in, or post from the point he was dragged in?

I have to check up on what's going on, sorry guys, I've been getting acclamated to Florida State University, my new home, so I haven't had much internet time. Cool, cool. I suppose we can't start deciding now on what we want to be the main focus of the thread. Are we Federation, Zeon, is it in space, big naval combat or ground combat? You know, that kind of stuff.

I vote Federation and Ground combat.

Gundam Thread perhaps (UC and not a crossover)

Anyone here interested in participating in a Gundam thread set in the Universal Century era (that's the original Gundam series and 08th MS Team)? I've always liked the gundam universe and I recently found rules online for a d20 based system for a Gundam RPG, and I thought about introducing that into...

Fair enough. I was only trying to help answer any easy questions I could since I've RP'ed with Kirin before. But you have a valid point. Perhaps you could make an announcement to speak to him and his daughter. It would slow Black Nova's launch, but I'm up for all the RP'ing I can get. :)

From what I gather (and I'm speaking on my perception, perhaps not Kirin's actual intentions) is that Kirin is present only escort his daughter to be inducted into Black Nova Squadron to replace the missing Nova 7 who was killed in a previous thread. Other than that, I might infer that the action th...

Yeah, I know what you mean, and I'll say it agian, there are bugs, because it's all relatively new, so you know how it goes.

I'm a shortstop, and I haven't had too many problems, just a few fair/foul disputes, but those are no big deal. It also takes a while to get used to, but I find it good fun.

You could argue golf is more mentally challenging, but I'd like to think it's on a different level. Like I said regarding the game, there are bugs, for sure. Example being no one can play catcher because it can bug the batter for some odd reason. And the foul line is a little blurry as far as the computer is concerned. But other than that, you have to get used to how much your character stinks, be...

Nu opened his eyes again. He was alone, on a small cot in a small room, in who-knew-where. He moved his legs, and felt a tingle rush up his body. He hopped off the cot and examined his surroundings. The windows displayed nothing more outside than brick walls and cobwebs. This led Nu to believe where...

The doors to the inn flew open, and the young man with brown hair nearly fell onto his face. Water splashed up all over his clothes as he stopped his fall with his hands. For a Bothan he had his priorities straight, Winters thought. Others of Admiral Damus' species were known to be very pride driven and arrogant. Admiral Damus definitely had forgone that stereotype. Awesome. Ah, I just thought of something. There's been a death in the squadron, Nova 7, so there's actually an opening. If you want your character can arrive and fill in that spot. Otherwise, your character would technically already be on the ship with the rest of us. Either way it works.
