The Exile of Creen Falm

Post by Topgun220 » Thu Jun 15, 2006 4:57 pm

OOC: This thread is going to show the history of a Jedi master and Jedi knight I intend to eventually enter the MBT. Currently it is closed and as such no OOC thread will be created for the thread. If you have comments or suggestions I'm more than happy to recieve them through a pm. Enjoy

There he lay, strewn amongst the bodies of dead clone troopers and scrap heaps that were once droids. The battle scorched Earth around him harbored no life. What once was a lush forest was now a flat battlefield littered with craters and soaked in blood and oil. He laid amongst them all, his Jedi master robes torn up and dirtied, his shaggy brown hair filled with dirt, and his tan skin bloodied by scratches and cuts.

He jolted up from his prone position on the ground so quickly a surge of pain from all his injuries overwhelmed him. He fell back down. After pausing a minute to collect himself he pushed himself off the ground and stood up. His tattered robes swaying wildly with the breeze. His hand still clutched his light saber and his bright blue eyes looked around scanning the terrain. All he could see was death, dead clones on every side of him. He remembered what happened yesterday or whenever the battle took place. He and his battalion of clones were pushing into the droid command center and the battle was going smoothly. Once they captured the command center he wanted to pursue the enemy forces heading into another bunker complex in the mountains ahead. But the clones wouldn’t listen to his commands and they turned on him. He killed dozens maybe even a hundred clones before the just called in an artillery bombardment right on top of him. He was knocked unconscious by one of the blasts but managed to survive.

Now when he extended himself into the force searching for his padawan on the planet he found nothing. He either left or was killed, he hoped his padawan’s fate wasn’t the latter though it most likely was. The Jedi’s comm. unit activated and a scared woman’s voice came over the comm. He instantly recognized the voice as his wife’s.
“Creen there are clones everywhere hurry back to the house.” He heard a down bust down and a light saber ignite as well as blasters firing in the background. “No!” His wife screamed and Creen found himself screaming back into the comm.

“I’m coming Shurla hang on!” The light saber must have belonged to his best friend Desar, a barabel Jedi knight. Creen drew heavily on the force as he sprinted to the republic command center. He reached the building quickly and he felt several clone presences inside and the hum of a speeder bike. He remained in the brush and waited for the clone scout to mount his bike. When he did and started to speed off past him Creen caught the speeder bike with the force. The rider went flying into a tree and was knocked unconscious. The other two clone troopers rushed outside to see what happened. Creen jumped high in the air using the force to help propel him. He landed behind them and ignited his blue blade cutting both of them down in two swift strokes. He deactivated his saber and mounted the bike which was still running. He jammed down the throttle and propelled himself toward Kyron city which was the capital of the planet he was on and was where his home was. He could feel the sense of distress and hopelessness filling Desar which he projected through the force trying to urge Creen to go faster. Creen activated the comm. again. “Back door now!” He yelled as he sped down the street he lived on. He was coming up on the back of his house which was surrounded by half a dozen clone troopers. Creen didn’t bother to stop the bike he merely jumped off and landed behind the group his sapphire blade weaving its way through his hands deflecting two blaster bolts at their attackers killing them. The blade danced as it blocked more shots and Creen blocked three more before sending a wave of telekinetic energy at the four shoving them into a wall with sufficient force to knock them out. The back door slid open a moment later and his wife came out with his eight year old son holding her hand. Behind them Creen saw Desar’s emerald blade cutting down clones and deflecting blaster bolts. He made it out the door and closed it behind him. He turned to face Creen. “Your padawan waz able to warn me about what happened to you before they killed him and I managed to get here juzt in time.”

“Thanks old friend.” He turned and embraced his wife. “I thought I was going to lose you for a second there.” He looked at his son and smiled. “How are you bud?” His son’s brown eyes looked at him as he smiled back and said. “Fine dad.” Desar interrupted urgently. “Umm Creen.” He said pointing at the sky. Creen turned to see a republic dropship coming in for a landing right on the street. He could feel the presences of clones aboard. “That’s our ride.” Creen said matter of factly and Desar nodded and moved into the shadows next to Creen’s home. As the dropship landed the beam turret shot out at Creen and his family. Creen instinctively grabbed his wife and son and dove out of the way. When the landing door slid open Desar force sprinted right into the ship and started a flurry in which Creen saw the emerald blade dancing from one clone to the next with the occasional scream coming from the victims. Creen grabbed his wife’s hand and was about to pull her aboard the ship when a dozen clones coming down the street opened fire at his family. He ran in front of them his blue blade fending off several shots but there were so many and his blade could only be in one spot at a time. A few slipped through his defenses and one hit his son in the chest. He turned to see him hit the ground and his wife rush to save the child. Creen’s heart was raked with pain and his defenses grew incredibly fierce blocking everything they threw at him knocking a few shots back into the shooters. However more clones came from the opposite side off the street and Creen felt the impact of the bolts striking his wife as if they had hit him. Creen turned and watched her fall to her knees frozen in place, time didn’t seem to pass as he saw the death of the only woman he ever loved. He swirled around blocking a bolt heading for his back and began to backup towards the dropship.
“Leave without me!” He yelled at Desar. But Desar wouldn’t dare, he force pulled Creen right onto the ship and closed the door. He hit the thrusters and the gunship sped off into the sky. Creen got up from the gunship deck, deactivated his saber and returned it to its place on his belt, then approached Desar in the cockpit his anger swelling within him, now he had lost control. Desar felt the pain and anger in him through the force and yelled to him. “Look at yourself, your becoming something your not. Control your anger or you’ll be on your way down the dark path from which there is no return.” Creen didn’t even hear Desar.

“Didn’t you just see what happened to Shurla and Kyle?!” He screamed at him with tears in his eyes. Creen had lost control of his emotions and felt as though he had already failed as a Jedi master.

“Yess but don’t dizgrace their spirits by getting yourself killed or turning into a monster.”
The words struck Creen like a slap in the face. How could he be so selfish his family died and he wanted to disgrace their sacrifice by becoming something evil and twisted. He sat down in the co-pilot seat and laid his head on the head rest trying to calm himself down. Desar was flying the gunship to the droid base in the mountains. Hopefully there would be a ship with a hyper drive there. Unfortunately they would have to fight their way to the ship and dodge the space battle overhead.

Desar landed the gunship just outside of the Anti-Air defenses range. Creen and him continued to the base on foot sneaking past several enemy observation points. The thick forest through which they traveled gave an excellent stealthy approach to the landing pad. A large bulk freighter most likely carrying supplies for the base was on the landing pad currently. A squad of droids that were arrayed around it was made up of both super and regular battle droids. Deciding it was nothing Desar and he couldn’t handle Creen led the way up to the base of the landing pad. It was held up by several support struts from underneath and the pad itself was nearly ten meters off the ground. Creen flicked his finger near a bunch of fuel canister and a noise like something metallic banging together came from them. A few of the droids ran off to see what was happening and the rest had their backs turned to the side Desar and Creen were on. They both jumped up high into the air landing on top of the landing pad behind the droids igniting their light sabers. They quickly cut down three battle droids in quick succession. Creen batted back several bolts the droids that went to inspect the noise sent his way. Desar let loose a force shove knocking most of them back and Creen used the attack to lift up a canister and hurl it at the survivors. The canister exploded and gave them away to the whole base but they now had a clear run to the ship’s boarding ramp. They embarked upon the ship closed the ramp and took off leaving the base far behind. The freighter exited atmosphere and Creen saw that the space battle was unfortunately in full swing. Republic and separatist cruisers went head to head with each other trading salvos of turbo laser fire.

“Hang on to sssomething this is going to get real rough.” Desar announced as he and Creen strapped into their crash webbing. The bulk freighter weaved in between turbo lasers and dog fighting star fighters exceptionally for a ship of its size and maneuverability. The ship rocked with the occasional hit on the shields but since neither side knew whose side the freighter was on and the fact that it was just trying to get out of system they really didn’t care about it. As they cleared the battle Desar looked at Creen and asked. “Where do we go now?” Creen looked back at him and said matter of factly. “Somewhere where the republic won’t find us. Somewhere....safe.” Desar pulled up a star chart of the galaxy on the control screen for Creen. The republic held worlds turned blue and the separatist held worlds turned red. Only a handful of planets remained. “There.” Creen said pointing at a planet in the unknown regions that was unnamed but known to be habitable. The perfect spot to hide. The planet was mostly plains and forest with semi-sentient life. Desar nodded and plotted a course for the planet. A minute later and the space around the ship bent as it entered hyper space.

Eight years later

After landing on the unnamed planet Creen and Desar built a shack more or less to confide in. They used their Jedi powers only when needed and learned to live off of just their own skills and light saber. They did encounter an intelligent species of insect. They were as tall as men and looked like they were more than capable fighters. However they were docile and were all controlled by the queen through a hive mind. For the most part the two Jedi didn’t encounter many of these insects and their nest was unknown to both of them. Creen and Desar meditated and sparred almost daily. They became increasingly more in touch with the ecosystem and began to gain a better understanding of life. However Creen felt something dark approaching, he and Desar decided to hide their presences from this dark emissary. When they felt it land in its ship the presence disappeared all together. Somebody had come to this planet and did not want to be found. Both Creen and Desar thought however that it would be better to let this presence be rather than try to track it down, for now. So the two continued on sparring and meditating without giving much thought to what the presence was here for.

Two years later

The daily training was paying off as both Jedi were now nearly double as strong in the force as they were when they arrived. But they both sensed a dark cloud descending on the planet and they both knew what had brought it. They decided to find this dark presence and find out what it came here for. After searching forests and mountain tops alike they came up empty. However what they did find was a cave leading deep into the side of a mountain. Creen felt millions upon millions of creatures he recognized as the insects inside the cave. They found the nesting ground of the insects. But something dark was inside the cave and both Jedi could clearly feel it now. Creen took one step into the cavern and his danger sense jumped on him. Both Desar and he activated their blades and backed away from the cavern entrance. The insects came charging out at them flailing their arms and legs at them and snapping their mandibles. Creen and Desar cut down dozens of the insects while slowly retreating. Creen could feel the anger, the hate, and the fear in these insects. Something changed them inside, something dark and sinister. Desar said it first. “The dark presence we felt must have been a dark Jedi. He would try to bend the will of these insects to do his own bidding.” Creen agreed and both of them gave powerful force shoves pushing back the mass of insects and retreated into the forest.

After running a safe distance away and no longer feeling the dark presence they had sensed near the nest Creen and Desar stopped to rest and plan.
“So this dark Jedi whoever he or she is is controlling the insects through the force.” Desar hissed and returned with “Mosst definitely master Falm.” Creen looked at Desar expectantly.
“Then we have to stop him before he gets dreams of grandeur. The dark cloud is growing larger and larger over the planet. We need a plan of attack to get inside the nest. We can’t just slice our way through there is too many bugs and we don’t have enough strength even with the force to kill them all.” Desar smiled.
“This one has a plan.”

The next day

Creen walked to the mouth of the cave his light saber in hand but not activated. He felt the low rumbling of the insects coming out to attack him. When they began to near him he activated his blue blade and prepared himself mentally for battle. As the insects streamed out of the hole he backed up slowly drawing them into the trap. Almost a hundred bugs came out of the hole when a massive boulder came crashing down from on top of the mountain crushing most of the bugs on impact. While the rest were stunned from the attack Creen rushed forward slicing bugs in half and cutting off appendages. In under a minute they were all dead. But Creen and Desar both knew that the dark Jedi would simply send more as he had millions of insect warriors. Both Desar and Creen ran down into the cavern using the force to hide their presences from the dark Jedi.

They ran down winding corridor with almost no lighting except for some odd shinny balls that hung from the ceiling. When they came to an intersection they split up. Creen made his way down the tunnel cautiously, the dark presence was getting stronger and stronger. The tunnel exited into a large room, the ceiling was at least fifty meters off the ground. In the middle of the room was a pyramid like structure with a throne like chair on top. In it sat a figure with a black cape. Creen could feel the dark side flowing through him and he immediately knew he had found the dark Jedi. Not wanting to expose himself just yet Creen remained in the shadows around the edges of the room and continued to hide his presence in the force. Above the pyramids were catwalks made out of a shiny amber like material just like the pyramid and chair. No bugs were seen in the entire room but Creen could feel many insect lives through the force scurrying about the tunnels around the chamber.

Creen walked up to the base of the pyramid in clear view of the dark Jedi and contacted Desar through the force urging him to hurry up and find him. The dark Jedi rose up from his throne and pulled what looked like a light saber off of his belt but did not activate it. He shrugged off his long black cloak revealing his dark robes underneath. Creen kept his cloak on and began to ascend the pyramid light saber in hand.
“What are you doing here?” Creen asked the dark Jedi using the force to project his words into the dark Jedi’s mind. But the dark Jedi blocked Creen’s force powers from affecting his mind.
“You don’t need to use your tricks on me to help convince me to answer your question.” He said in a deep cold tone. “I would have told you anyway. I am using these insects to help forge an interstellar empire. Right now they are working on huge hive ships that will send them to nearby star systems using the hyper drive I had on my ship when I first arrived. They will land on the planet and set up a nest there, slowly building up an army secretively. Then when their numbers are large enough they will over whelm the planet’s defenders with sheer numbers.” He smiled at Creen.
“How do you expect to control them with the force from so far away?” Creen asked sternly.
“Over the years I’ve been here I have become...’connected’ to the insect hive mind. Now all I have to do is ask for something and they will do it with unflinching loyalty, no dispute, just obedience. The perfect army.” The dark Jedi seemed massively proud of his army and how he had gained control of the insects.

“However there is one mistake to your plan.” Creen said to him activating his sapphire blade. “A Jedi master stands between you and your empire.” The dark Jedi laughed and did a back flip landing on one of the cat walks. A red beam grew out of his light saber.

Creen jumped up to the catwalk landing only a few meters away from the dark Jedi. The dark Jedi didn’t give Creen any time to attack as he rushed out striking at Creen. Creen’s blue blade swirled up to parry the blow and then moved to parry another. The dark Jedi continued to press the attack pushing Creen slowly but surely backwards on the defensive. Creen blocked everything the dark Jedi could throw at him. When the throne lifted up into the air and flew towards Creen he batted away one of the dark Jedi’s attacks and landed a firm kick on his chin knocking the dark Jedi backwards. Then he lifted his hand towards the throne catching in shockingly close to him and threw it at the dark Jedi. The dark Jedi jumped over the throne as it flew under him. He came down on top of Creen slashing down hard. Creen sent a wave of telekinetic force at the dark Jedi’s chest propelling him upwards landing hard on another catwalk above. Creen force jumped up to meet him. The dark Jedi pushed himself up off the ground and went into a defensive stance as Creen now took the offensive striking out with his light saber at the dark Jedi’s defenses trying to find a weak point. They continued trading blows unable to land a sure hit on each other. Creen attacked high and the dark Jedi used one hand to block the attack and the other palm open at Creen’s chest. Creen flew backwards at least twenty meters before rolling to a stop on the catwalk. The dark Jedi was advancing again and lashed out with his blade at Creen’s neck. Creen ducked under the blade and tried to sweep the dark Jedi’s feet from under him. But the dark Jedi merely jumped over the attack and continued to assault Creen’s defenses. When the dark Jedi lunged out at Creen, Creen thought he was being given an opening to attack. But when he jumped behind the dark Jedi a forceful kick combined with the force impacted on his chest. He flung backwards on the catwalk and laid on the catwalk coughing acting as if he had been severely hurt.

When the dark Jedi came over to deliver a finishing blow Creen launched a force shove that flung the dark Jedi into the air and Creen jumped after him delivering a force powered elbow to his midsection. The dark Jedi speed down and slammed into a catwalk underneath him. The material the catwalk was made of cracked underneath the massive forces that were just applied to it. Creen jumped down onto the catwalk as the Dark Jedi rose back up wiping the blood out of the corner of his mouth. “Not bad Jedi.” He said preparing to attack again. Creen merely dropped into a high guard stance ready to continue the fight.

Desar sprinted down the tunnels on all fours trying desperately to reach Creen in time to assist him battling the dark Jedi. When he reached the chamber he saw the red and blue blades clashing on top of one of the lower catwalks. He force jumped onto the pyramid and jumped into the air heading for the catwalk. When a wave of force energy shoved him back down violently crashing into the pyramid below. Desar glared up at the two fighting Jedi as Creen received a kick in the face forcing him to perform several back flips to land successfully on his feet. The dark Jedi charged after him and Desar saw his chance. He used the force to propel his jump up to the catwalk. He landed with a thud the weight of the barabel caused the catwalk to crack even deeper. He ignited his emerald light saber and came up behind the dark Jedi. The dark Jedi knew the attack was coming and blocked Desar’s slash at his nee then followed it up by crashing an elbow into the barabel’s forehead. Desar took a few staggered steps back but attacked again at the dark Jedi who was now blocking both of the Jedi’s attacks. The dark Jedi force jumped up onto the next highest catwalk and force shoved both of the Jedi forcing them to crouch down. Then the catwalk gave way and broke apart. Both Desar and Creen managed to jump up to the catwalk the dark Jedi was on before the broken catwalk crashed into the pyramid. Both Desar and Creen were on the same side facing the dark Jedi their light sabers held rigid and ready to attack. They closed the distance moving as one. The dark Jedi held out his hand at them with his finger pointing out at them and a flurry of lightning bolts shot out of his hand. Creen managed to raise his light saber and absorb the attack in time. Desar however was electrocuted and flew off the cat walk spinning in air and landing on the top of the pyramid. He was going to jump back p to help Creen again when he felt hundreds of insects moving in on him. He hissed in disgust and yelled up to Creen. “This one will take care of the bugzz.” The insects swarmed through the tunnel entrances like massive tides of chitin and clacking mandibles. As they ran up the pyramid Desar lifted a chunk of catwalk debris and hurled it at a group of them. He felt a dozen lives extinguish in an instant. He began to cut down any bugs getting to close to his twirling blade.

Meanwhile Creen was having trouble defending himself against the ferocious assault the dark Jedi had unleashed against him. Blocking high, low, and high again, low again, he could barely keep up with the speed and power the dark Jedi put into every attack. Creen managed to force shove him back a few feet and launch an attack of his own. He swung high at the dark Jedi’s shoulder and brought his elbow into the dark Jedi’s abdomen. The dark Jedi parried the light saber attack but took the elbow unprepared and doubled over. Creen took advantage of the situation and brought his light saber’s hilt down onto the exposed back of the dark Jedi’s head who crumpled to the floor. The bugs suddenly stopped and Desar looked up at Creen hissing with excitement.
“Did you kill him master Falm?” Creen kicked the dark Jedi’s light saber off the catwalk but halfway down it froze in air and the dark Jedi sent a wave of force power at Creen which he had expected. When the dark Jedi’s light saber reached his hand as he flew through the air Creen was waiting for him. The dark Jedi chose not to defend but rather attack to try to get out of the situation but he succeeded in only getting thrown off balance. Creen ducked under the horizontal cut at his head and with one strike cut off both of arms and plunged his blade deep into his chest in a single motion. The dark Jedi’s hands flew away still clutching the now deactivated light saber. He stood there with the blue sapphire blade coming in one end and sticking out the other. When Creen pulled his light saber free he fell to the ground on his knees looking at the stumps that had once been his hands. Then he looked up at Creen with puzzled eyes.

“But how? I am stronger than you, I have the power of the dark side and the nest.”
“Power and influence don’t always a sure you victory especially when your fighting against a skilled and determined opponent.” The dark Jedi once again looked to his stumps then fell to the ground dead. Creen shook his head and deactivated his light saber. The bugs began to look about curiously then continued on with their lives the way they had two years ago before the dark Jedi arrived. After exiting the nest Desar brought up the fact that they should locate the dark Jedi’s ship. When they checked around the nest they found it cleverly camouflaged. It was a model YT-2000 with it’s cockpit in between the mandibles it had a distinctive look. The hyper drive was still inside and the ship was virtually new if it weren’t for the fact that it had just sat here for two years. Before they left however Creen felt it was necessary to stay a few more years to help heal the world from the dark scars it had received and further train in the ways of the force and light saber forms.

Nearly ten years later

Creen sat cross legged across from Desar both meditating in the area out front of their shack. A week ago they decided that the planet had been healed and the bugs returned fully to their normal state. Just yesterday they had discovered that pirates were using the planet as a base of operation, hidden away from imperial eyes. Both thought that they had a duty to stop these pirates from harassing the local traders. They both rose from their cross legged position and walked into the ship that had once been the dark Jedi’s. Its new name was ‘Shinning Justice’. Creen got into the pilot seat and Desar took the copilot’s seat. Creen started up the sub-light drives and flew out into space. Their plan was simple but effective. They flew out into space and merely sat there waiting for pirates to come. They began transmitting a distress signal and set the ship up so on sensors it looked like it was severely damaged. They only had to wait an hour before a pirate corellian corvette pulled up beside them and hailed the Shinning Justice.

“This is Borus and Carter trading company vessel The Baron. We are sending in a team of engineers to help repair the craft.”
Even from so far away Creen could tell he was lying. Both he and Desar got out of their seats and moved to the air lock prepared for battle should it come to that. When the door opened it wasn’t technicians that entered it was seven fully armored and heavily armed pirates. The Jedi weren’t surprised but the pirates were in awe at the sight of two Jedi donned in their robes light sabers in hand. Desar and Creen raised their hands in unsion and sent all of the pirates flying backwards. They slammed into the bulkhead of the corridor after passing the airlock back into their own ship. A few startled pirates saw what happened and were coming to the airlock when the two Jedi jumped out green and blue blade deflecting blaster shots back at the pirates who fired them. Creen blocked four shots in quick succession before sending another one back into the pirate’s chest. Desar merely blocked two shots then leapt in between two pirates. He moved to quick for them sweeping their legs from under them and propelling their fall with the force knocking them out cold. Creen went down one corridor towards the bridge while Desar went towards the barracks and engine room.

Creen quickly advanced down two corridors without any contact, but as he rounded the next corridor he could feel the presences of several pirates all prepared for him. He strode out into the center of the corridor in plain view of the pirates as they opened fire his sapphire blade wove a defensive shield in front of him sending dozens of bolts back at them. Then he jumped behind the group. One pirate swung his gun around almost in time to take a shot into Creen’s chest but Creen’s blue blade chopped the blaster rifle in half and the heel of Creen’s foot connected with the pirate’s face. Creen then twirled his blade around literally disarming another pirate and simultaneously force shoving the last pirate into the wall. The disarmed pirate feel to his knees and loss consciousness and went into shock. Creen continued down the corridor towards the bridge. When he opened the door the pirate captain stood with his hands behind his back. Two pirates that must have been controlling a console stood next to him with their hands behind their backs as well. Creen advanced on their position until he was within saber range then spoke to the captain.

“Surrender, there is no need for more bloodshed.” The captain looked at him then laughed.
“You Jedi are always so quick to ask for a surrender.” He pressed a button on the command console next to him and the doors on Creen’s right slid open revealing six heavily armed pirates. But Creen didn’t even flinch. “Now Jedi surrender and we won’t have to turn you into a crisp.” But Creen just smiled and said.
“This is your last chance.” The pirate captain laughed but Creen felt the suspicion inside him rise.
“You’re not exactly in a position to bargain Jedi.” He turned to his fellow pirates. “Kill him.” As the pirates aimed their weapons the ceiling above them came crashing down with a barabel holding a green light saber lashing out cutting down one of the pirates. The others started to fire at him and he deflected several of their shots before lunging at a second pirate. Then the doors closed and the three pirates in front of Creen had their blasters drawn. Creen wasted no time in activating his blade cutting off the arms of the two body guards and delivering a powerful kick into the captain’s face flinging him back into the command console his blaster flying out of his hands. Both of the two body guards were on the floor clutching their stumps with their good hands in pain. The tip of Creen’s blade was under the captain neck as he slowly rose.
“You will be held in the brig with your crew until I can hand you over to authorities.” The captain nodded and opened the door again. Desar stood on the other side standing over the bodies of six pirates. Creen motioned for the captain and his body guards to follow Desar to the brig.

After the rest of the crew was locked up in the brig Creen and Desar plotted a hyperspace course for the nearby inhabited planet of Bakura and turned on the distress beacon on board the ship to signal any nearby ships to contact authorities immediately. After making sure the crew had sufficient food stocks in the brig and destroying or taking their weapons Desar and Creen left the ship and returned to the Shinning Justice.

Creen and Desar returned to the unnamed planet in the Shinning Justice and decided that it was best if they split up and hid from the empire another fifteen or so years. Neither would know where the other went so if the emperor captured one he couldn’t give away the location of the other. Creen would take the Shinning Justice and Desar would take the old freighter. When the emperor and Darth Vader fell they would meet on the planet of Telos to regroup and try to help rebuild the Jedi order. After wishing each other luck Creen departed and set a random jump sequence first to lose any body trying to follow his trail.

Half way through the jump the ship was yanked out of hyper space by an unknown mass. When Creen scanned the area he found that the mass was a ship of unknown origins. It looked like nothing he had ever seen before. The ship looked like a massive crescent with the bridge in the middle and engines directly behind it. Turbo laser batteries were placed on the top and bottom of the crescent and on the tips were tubes which Creen guessed launched proton torpedoes. The ship looked like it could easily take on a fleet of imperial star destroyers. The ship had Creen in its tractor beam carrying him towards a dock in the middle section of the left crescent curve. Warning flared on the Shinning Justice’s control console. Creen unbuckled his crash netting and climbed out of the pilot’s chair and over the co-pilot’s chair. He exited the cockpit and ran down the corridor to the engine room. The ships internal lighting had turned a dark red flashing on and off giving him just enough light to see the hyper drive.

Smoke was rising from it and the durasteel on it was bubbling and melting. Creen never even noticed that the dark Jedi who once owned this ship had rigged the hyper drive to over charge itself causing a meltdown in hyper space. If the alien ship had not dragged him out of hyper space the Shinning Justice would have detonated. Creen sealed the engine room off from the rest of the ship and he watched as the durasteel door began to melt into slag. Creen turned and ran into the cockpit where he saw the alien ship’s dock up close. The Justice set down inside the dock. Creen immediately lowered the loading ramp and ran through the corridors to it. He stopped at the top of the ramp and calmed himself down as he walked down the ramp. An alien species he never saw before waited for him at the bottom of the ramp. Four of them, they were as tall as Creen and looked human but had a red tint to their skin and their eyes were all black. They all had their brown hair in a ponytail. They wore blue armor that encompassed their entire body save their face. They carried a weapon that looked like it was a blaster but Creen felt an extreme amount of energy in it for it to shoot lasers. On their hips they had a sheathed sword that was about a meter long and through the force Creen felt it carried a significant charge. The lead one held his gun up at Creen and Creen raised his hands in surrender making no move for his light saber.
“Hey I don’t want any trouble.” The lead trooper kept his gun up but did not fire he seemed to understand Creen’s words. The team of soldiers ran up the ramp passing Creen by. Creen watched as they ran into his ship then came out shouting in an alien tongue Creen didn’t understand. But one of the soldiers grabbed him and dove of the ramp onto the dock. The rest of the soldiers dove off the ramp as the ship lifted into the air and was violently shoved out of the dock. It spun on its axis a bit in space before exploding. Creen stood up and was immediately surrounded by twenty of the alien soldiers holding up their guns. He could feel their tension through the force and he decided he was going to show he was prepared to fight. He raised his hand and all the guns flew into the air and his light saber came into his hand. The alien soldiers although shocked their weapons left their hands drew their swords which when activated produced a green glow all around the blade. They closed the circle around him tighter and tighter until someone starting yelling in their language. Creen turned to see a human female in their blue shinny armor. Creen could feel the force running through her raw and unchecked. The alien soldiers backed off returning their swords to their sheaths. Creen let their rifles float back into their hands. Not one raised the gun at him though. The woman came up to him and spoke to him in basic.
“You’re a Jedi? But how? I thought Palpaltine killed them all.”

OOC:Just so everyone knows even though im going to bring Creen into the MBT these aliens are going to disappear after this thread is finished. You'll understand better after I'm finished but for now youre going to have to take my word for it. Next post will be coming sooner probably, depends on how much free time I have tomorrow.

Creen was surprised she knew basic and he took an extra second to reply looking her over. Her slink form was preserved by the body armor and he face held a beauty Creen had not seen the likes of for far too long. She raised an eye brow at Creen and he shook his head.
“Well he must have missed a Jedi master here or there because I’m still alive and kicking.”
“A Jedi master?” She turned to one of the aliens and spoke in their language and in turn he walked away to the far end of the dock and went through a door. Creen asked the woman.
“Who are these aliens?” She smiled at him and Creen truly noticed her sweet beauty more fully. He searched inside her feeling her compassion and kindness but he also felt something underneath something that wanted to fight for what though he couldn’t find out unless he asked her.
“They are the Tak’reth, They come from another galaxy. I’m the only human onboard except for you. They rescued my B-wing fighter with my wingman after we were disabled in a dogfight with imperial forces.” Creen looked at her as if she was one of the aliens.
“Who were you fighting for?” She looked totally stunned.
“The rebel alliance of course.”
“Rebel alliance? You mean people are actually fighting against the empire?”
“Yeah where have you been for the past twenty years?” Creen shook his head.
“A place far out of the emperor’s reach since the clone wars end and the betrayal against the Jedi.”
“Well three years ago they found me and my wingman. Unfortunately he was dead but they were able to save my life.”
“What are ‘they’ doing here in our galaxy?” Another alien in a tight blue uniform walked out of the door where the trooper had departed some time ago. He had golden medal arrayed on the chest of his uniform. He walked up to Creen and the woman.

Before Creen could introduce himself the Tak’reth in the uniform spoke.

“Hello, In the name of the Tak’reth alignment I, Admiral Kan’Tar greet you, Master…?”
“Creen Falm.” Creen said. “On behalf of well… myself I greet you admiral.”

“It is good to finally meet a Jedi, Trija Saal has kept you in very high regard. We need your help.”
“Well then right to the point. Alright what would you need a Jedi for?”
“I will explain it to you tomorrow after you get some rest.” Trija spoke up to Creen.
“Follow me I’ll take you to your quarters.” Creen sensed no deception in either the admiral or Trija nor did he sense the desire to kill him. So he grudgingly followed her out of the docking bay and down several corridors. The corridors were made of the same shinny blue metal that made up the Tak’reth body armor. They continued down several corridors until she stopped in front of a door. She waved her hand on a panel next to the door and the blue metallic door slid open. Inside was a luxurious beautiful room fit for a republic senator or the queen of Naboo herself. He turned to Trija.

“I’m a Jedi you know I can’t accept these quarters.” She looked at him in shock.
“This is the admiral’s room, it’s the best they have.”
Creen shook his head. “No I mean I only need the most basic of sleeping accommodations. I am not a king I am a servant of the force.” She tilted her head at him.
“Well if you say so.” She led him farther down to another room. This one was much simpler. With a comforter and refresher that looked like they were well used. He walked inside looked around and then turned back to Trija.
“This is excellent, thank you very much.” She smiled.
“I will come and get you when we are ready.” Creen nodded and she left the door closing behind her. Creen sat down on the comforter cross legged and went into a deep meditation immersing him in the force. He followed its current and rejuvenated his stamina and vitality. He used its flow to relax and repress his thoughts and emotions and expose the facts of what he learned. Then he retreated into a deep sleep sensing everything around him through the force. He could feel the hundreds of Tak’reth aboard the ship and he felt something change. The momentum of the ship, they had entered hyper space but they were going far to fast for anything the imperials possessed. The Tak’reth must be from another galaxy and that’s where Creen guessed they were now heading. He let himself slip away into unconsciousness knowing that when he woke up everything in his galaxy, the Empire, the rebel alliance, and the Jedi were going to be massively over shadowed. By something far…worse he feared.

Creen awoke to a familiar presence approaching…Trija. He got out of his cross legged position and walked over to the door. It opened and a startled Trija met him. “Good morning.” He said to her walking out of the room.
“Good morning to you too.” She said still shocked. Trija led him to a turbo lift and from there to the bridge. The bridge was huge, with a row of seats with Tak’reth in them and consoles in front of them. In the middle of these chairs was a larger chair where the admiral sat. Directly in front of him was a view port showing billions of stars. Then it suddenly switched into a map, tiny dots with names over them with a giant red blob over a huge chunk of the planets. Only a handful of planets on the edge of the map were not covered by the blob of red. The admiral spun around in his chair and turned to Creen.
“Master Jedi Creen Falm, This is why I need you.” He pointed to the map. “The red blob indicates the area conquered by the Tal’Cron. Fifty of your standard years ago we, the Tak’reth created a massive army of self supporting unstoppable battle droids. We were forced into this move by the actions of the Sunari alliance decimating our forces and dwindling our numbers. The Tal’Cron performed their duty well, they routed the Sunari alliance in five years. But they didn’t stop despite our best efforts. They completely eradicated the Sunari alliance, total speciecide on hundreds of species. Even then though they didn’t stop, they came after us. Forty of your standard years ago they starting pushing our front back killing everything in their path. Our savior turned into our destroyer. We came to your galaxy seeking help. When we saved Trija she told us about the Jedi, how brave and self sacrificing they were. And how fearsome of warriors they were. You may be our only hope and your galaxy’s as well. When the Tal’Cron are done with us, they will continue to search for other galaxies to conquer. We must stop them now.” The view port switched again, showing a dozen of the crescent shaped ships the Tak’reth used engaged with rectangular ships with spires of metal sticking out on all sides. Creen was trying to comprehend what was happening but he couldn’t fathom what he was witnessing. Both sides were continuously trading unrelenting salvoes of turbo lasers and torpedoes that looked like balls of plasma.

“This…is a lot more than I expected.” Creen said a bit shaked up by the information the admiral just provided. The admiral’s gaze fell to the floor.
“I apologize for dragging you into this and it is very likely that you will die. But you must understand our position.”
“Oh I understand your position, you had no choice but to seek out a Jedi for aid. As a Jedi I will help you, but I will need help as well.” the admiral looked at Creen but it was Trija who spoke.
“I will help you master Jedi.” Creen turned and smiled at her.
“I knew you would.” She looked at him with an eyebrow raised. “You can use the force Trija, Just like me.” She looked at him in shock.
“I…can use the force? I could be a Jedi?”
“Yes Trija, and right now you need to become one to help me fight the Tal’Cron.”
“Then I’ll train under you to become a Jedi.” Creen shook his head at this.
“We don’t have enough time.”
The admiral spoke up now. “Yes you do. We have the ability to manipulate time.” Creen turned slowly to face the admiral.
“You can manipulate time? Why haven’t you just gone back in time and reprogrammed the Tal’Cron.” The admiral sighed and shook his head.
“We can only slow it down or sped it up. We can’t go back in time. And this will only be in a small area. About the size of this bridge.”
“That’s all we need. First I need you to scan my light saber and find the components for its construction. She will need them to build one herself. Until then she’ll use another one I have.” The admiral nodded.
“You’ll have two years to train her and only two days will pass outside. By the time you’re done we’ll have the components.”
After getting his light saber scanned Creen and Trija entered a huge room. It was a controlled recreation of a jungle. Complete with animals and even a creek. It was raining currently; Creen was amazed at the room. When the doors closed behind Trija and Creen they felt a sudden stop like feeling wash over them. After the feeling passed Creen looked to Trija.
“We don’t have much time to train so were going to start right away.”

OOC:This thread is going to be long enough without the training session in it. So just assume that Trija is trained up to the level of a Jedi padawan.

Two days later…
Admiral Kan’Tar paced back and forth in front of the view port. The Tak’reth fleet was able to repel the Tal’Cron. They were regrouping currently preparing for another attack. Of the fifteen crescent class battleships and four hundred fifty crescent support fighters only six battleships and two hundred twenty one fighters remained. The ice planet nearby had transports constantly coming in and leaving taking refugees off the planet. The last remaining admiral in the Tak’reth navy the high council greatly urged him to return to Lok’Trek and continue to co ordinate the defenses there. But Kan’Tar knew that the people of Telroth depended on the humans from the other galaxy. And they needed his help, to much rested on them for him to just leave for Lok’Trek. He checked the ships chronological keeper and saw that two days had passed since the Jedi and Trija had entered the room. It was time. “Go get the Jedi out of the time room.” He said to one of his subordinates who ran off to pursue his orders. The ensign opened the time room and inside stood both Creen and Trija fighting with light sabers furiously. Trija was wielding a red light saber and Creen had his blue blade. They attacked, blocked, parried, and counter attacked in what seemed to be a brilliant dance of battle. Both of them stopped when the ensign cleared his throat. Creen walked up to the ensign.
“So does the admiral need us now?” The ensign nodded and spoke to Creen in the language of the Tak’reth. Surprisingly Creen replied in kind. The ensign although was shocked led them to the Admiral.

Creen stood a meter and a half away from the Admiral, his face was hard and his nerves tense from battle. Creen glimpsed at the statistics screen showing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Tak’reth both military and civilian. A lieutenant walked up behind the admiral carrying something wrapped in cloth. The admiral turned and accepted the item before turning around to face Creen and Trija fully. He handed Trija the items wrapped in cloth which was indeed a Jedi robe exactly like Creen’s. Several pats and components where wrapped up inside the robe. Trija tilted her head and accepted the gear. She then turned around and walked towards her room quickly. Creen spoke up to explain.
“She needs to make her light saber as fast as possible so we can go right into the battle if need be.” The admiral nodded in understanding before talking to Creen.
“Master Jedi Creen Falm, I ask that you and Trija fly the two fighters her wingman and she flew. We have fully repaired them as well as added some extra features of our own technology. We need you two to take field command of this battle, the refugees on the planet have not yet fully evacuated. We need to hold off the Tal’Cron long enough for them to escape to Lok’Trek.” Creen raised an eyebrow.
“Lok’Trek?”
“It’s a fortress world that we are using as a capital and military base. It’s also one of the last fortress worlds left. Only two others are left, the bulk of our naval forces are on Lok’Trek and many say that the fate of our species will be decided if they reach Lok’Trek.”
“Then I accept the field command, I will lead your troops into battle.” The admiral smiled broadly, Creen knew this was the best news he had heard in at least a decade.
“Then I, Admiral Kan’Tar, hereby appoint you, Jedi master Creen Falm, as the Tak’reth supreme ground commander and Fleet captain of the Tak’reth navy.”
“Hold on what do you mean ‘supreme commander’?”
“You’re the only one left alive.” Creen barely managed to maintain his composure. The full extent of the Tak’reth position fully hit him. They were routed already; Creen searched into Kan’Tar’s mind and found that he was the only surviving Admiral.
“Do you have a plan to defeat the Tal’Cron?” The admiral nodded softly.
“We know how to beat them but we lack the ability. To stop the Tal’Cron all you need to do is kill the zero generation commander. He is in the Tal’Cron super ship which is always defended by a fleet of at least fifty capital ships and thousands of support fighters. Not to mention that the super ship itself can take on a strike force by itself. We’ve tried infiltrating with elite commandoes but the Tal’Cron internal defenses are just as strong as their space defenses.” Creen was trying to figure out an attack plan to kill the commander a Tal’Cron fleet exited hyper space. It was at least double the size of the Tak’reth fleet. Trija arrived back just in time, donned in her own Jedi robes and her very own light saber on her hip. Although they had two years to train Creen could only teach Trija so much. He wasn’t sure if she could handle open combat yet. The admiral shouted out to everyone on the bridge.
“All hands report to battle stations, prepare for battle.” He turned to the comm. officer on his right as he walked over to his command chair. “Organize the fleet into a phalanx formation and focus all firepower on the nearest Tal’Cron capital ship.” He finally turned to Creen. “Jedi Creen we need you to lead our fighters against the Tal’Cron fighter wing.” Creen nodded and Trija led him to the proper hangar. Inside were the two B-Wings with their wings folded being held up by metallic clamps. The crescent shaped Tak’reth fighters were already launching from the bay. Creen and Trija hopped into their respective fighters and closed the canopies. Creen put on the Tak’reth comm. headset they had installed inside. He grabbed the control stick and turned the B-Wing’s engines on. The ship gently lifted off the clamps and into the air. He punched the throttle and the ship sped out of the hangar followed by Trija’s B-Wing. Both ships’ wings unfolded into attack position. Two squadrons of Tak’reth fighters dropped in behind them and Creen opened up a comm. channel to all squadrons.
“All squadrons engage the enemy fighters don’t let them get near our capital ships.” He switched to a private channel to Trija’s ship. “Stay on my wing at all times.” As they approached the Tal’Cron capital ships Creen saw the hundreds of fighters billowing out of the enemy battleships. They were shaped like triangles with wings sticking out and delta wings on the point of the triangle. Creen saw no canopy and guessed that the star fighters’ were controlled by the mother ship. So, Creen theorized, if he destroyed the comm. system of the mother ship it would render the fighters useless. He reopened the comm. channel to Trija.
“Divert all power except from life support and engines to shields. Were going to pass their fighter wing right by and attack their capital ships directly.” As he told her what to do he did the same. The shield sensor on his console showed shields at 150%. Creen hoped it would be enough to withstand what was sure to come. As the masses of fighters closed the distance and got into laser range the Tak’reth opened fired score several kills with their distinctive blue lasers. The Tal’Cron returned in kind also scoring kills with their red lasers. Creen heard the screams of pilots yelling as their ships were torn apart from enemy fire. Several shots impacted on Creen’s shields but they were successfully deflected. However shields had dropped to 25% when he cleared the cloud of enemy fighters. While all the Tak’reth fighters broke off to engage in dogfights Creen and Trija’s ships continued towards the Tal’Cron battleships. Up close Creen could survey the ships more easily. They were for the most part huge rectangles lined with turbo laser batteries with huge spires protruding from the top of the ship. He started scanning the spires while he opened a comm. channel to Trija again. He felt her frustration through the force, she wanted to join the swirling mass of dogfights.
“Switch shield power to rear deflectors and prepare proton torpedoes. If we can find and destroy the comm. spire we can neutralize an entire wing of enemy fighters.” Just as he finished diverting his energy where needed the scan finished. The tallest spire next to four other small ones was sending out millions of signals to the fighter swarm. He targeted the base of the spire. “The middle spire is our target. Follow me in and hit the right side of the spire with your torpedoes.” Creen sped up and Trija fell in behind him. Both began to weave their way through enemy static defenses with the force. As soon as Creen entered range he let loose the two proton torpedoes near the middle of the spire and Trija fired her torpedoes next to his. They both pulled off as the torpedoes impacted and the spire’s middle section was blown out. The ship’s artificial gravity forced the spire to come crashing down on the rest of the ship piercing several decks. The ship’s shields immediately died and a salvo of turbo laser fire tore into the exposed hull damaging the ship severely. Another salvo tore into the hull and the ship stopped returning fire as it began to fall apart. Creen and Trija however were already on their way to the second ship.

The two B-Wings swerved through enemy fire and loosed their torpedoes. Just before hitting the spire they exploded on a blue shimmer. Creen cursed, the Tal’Cron were machines. They adapt extremely fast, it was time for a new strategy. Like all ships the Tal’Cron battleship had to have a docking bay for its fighters. Maybe if they could land inside and shut down the shields they would give the Tak’reth an open shot at the ship. Creen activated his comm. “Trija jump into the dogfight and assist the Tak’reth fighter squadrons, I’m going to board the ship and see what I can do from the inside.” Trija started to protest through the force sending out feeling of concern for him.
“But Creen I’d be more help to you inside than…” Creen cut her off sharply.

“I wasn’t asking you Trija.” She understood. Although upset that he didn’t want her to join him she didn’t have a choice in the matter. Creen let loose several laser cannon shots at the hangar shield generator outside the hangar entrance. Creen’s B-Wing folded up as he came into the docking bay on the side of the huge hulk of a ship. The blast doors slammed shut behind his B-Wing. He seemed to go unnoticed by the Tal’Cron. Maybe their sensors were destroyed? Or they could just be to busy with the Tak’reth capital ships to notice a single fighter breaching their hangar? Or they could be waiting for him inside the hangar, it could be a trap. Creen pushed these thoughts out of his head as the B-Wing came in and landed. The canopy opened and Creen sprang out light saber in hand ready for a welcoming party. But there was none, the hangar was completely deserted. At the far end of the hangar was a door, Creen slowly approached the door keeping deep in touch with the force around him. It was hard to feel the droids on the ship, he knew they were there just couldn’t pinpoint them. He came to the door waved his hand using the force to open it and on the other side was a Tal’Cron battle droid. Even with everything Admiral Kan’Tar had said about them Creen was amazed at what he saw. The droid was a full head taller than Creen, its body mass was double Creen’s and it had a black metal armor coating its entire body frame. The head had a single red dot in the middle so it could see. Both arms were huge, built into the right was what looked like a chain gun and the other had a mace like configuration. When Creen activated his light saber a blade extended from the mace hand and a red shimmer went over the blade. The droid pointed its cannon at Creen and opened fire. Creen slid between the droid’s legs, but before he could attack its exposed back the Tal’Cron swirled around swinging its blade arm. Creen was barely able to send his light saber up in time to black it. He sent a wave of force energy at the droid arm ripping it off of the Tal’Cron. When the arm flew away from it the droid was already bringing its chain gun to bear. Creen cut the chain gun arm at the joint and finished the droid off with a spinning cut slicing off its head.

That was only one droid and Creen felt that there were at least four hundred more of them on the ship. He didn’t know where he was or where the shield generator room was but he had the force to guide him. He switched off his saber and felt his way down the corridor. He could feel immense energy coming from a room a good distance away. If it was the engine room or shield room it didn’t matter. Whatever was there he would destroy it and see if it had any effect on the droids. When he reached the end of the hallway and used the force to open the door he entered another hangar. It was filled with Tal’Cron battle droids, at least a hundred. They were all in formation in front of a squadron of transports that looked more like blocks of metal rather than transports. Thank fully the droids didn’t notice Creen’s entrance. He quickly force jumped up to a metal support beam near the ceiling of the hangar. He observed the droids boarding the transports prepared for combat. They were headed for the planet, while the battle raged on they would invade the planet and eradicate the populace. Unacceptable, Creen as a Jedi could not allow the slaughter of so many people. The Tak’reth had a small defense force on the ground but it couldn’t defeat so many of the powerful Tal’Cron battle droids. He had to find a way to slow them down or destroy their transports. He scanned the hangar, he saw the shield generator protecting the hangar opening from the vacuum of space. He quickly formulated a plan in his mind.

He used the force to create a loud noise at the rear of the hangar. The entire Tal’Cron army ran out of the transport and went to inspect the noise. Creen ignited his blue blade and threw it at the shield generator. The entire Tal’Cron army shifted their gaze to Creen and aimed their blaster arms at him. But it was too late. The shield generator was destroyed and the vacuum of space pulled most of the droids out of the hangar. It only took a few seconds before the hangar blast doors slammed shut and atmosphere once again filled the hangar bay. When the remaining droids looked to the spot where Creen had once been he was gone. He had already moved to another position above the droids which formed a loose circle defending themselves on all sides but leaving themselves exposed for an internal attack. Creen dropped in the middle of the circle activating his blade once more. The droids swung around and fired at him immediately. Creen jumped out of the circle as dozens of blaster bolts passed each other by and striking several of the droids. As Creen descended on one of the droids he let out a slash and cut it in half. Two remaining droids started firing at him and he sent back several well aimed shots before the droids whipped out their blades and lunged at Creen. Creen blocked the first powerful downward stroke and rolled backwards avoiding the second strike. He sent a force push at the droid pair. It made them stagger back and Creen lunged at them swinging his blade around beheading one and cutting a deep slice into the other cutting several critical components disabling the droid.

Creen exited the hangar and proceeded to the room flowing with energy. When he reached the door to the room he felt several droid presences inside. This room had to contain something critical to the ship if there was droids guarding the room. He opened the door with the force and jumped into the room his light saber activated and in hand. He cut down one unsuspecting droid and the three others wheeled on him firing at him. He blocked several shots and then used the force to sever the power supply in one of the droids. As it shut down Creen quickly advanced on the second droid deflecting shots as was necessary. The droid deployed its blade seeing it would not kill Creen with its blaster cannon. It swung high at Creen’s neck, he ducked under the attack and twirled his light saber up cutting the arm off the droid. It swung its other arm striking Creen in the back of his skull sending massive waves of pain through his head. He rolled to the side and threw his light saber at the droid. It successfully cut the droid in half. As his light saber returned to Creen’s hand he began to stand up. He had trouble standing and he had to use the force to help steady him self. In the center of the room was the massive generator, on Creen’s right was the control console. He went over to it and plunged his light saber into it. The generator began to overload and Creen sprinted back towards the hangar where his B-Wing was landed.

OOC:Just a quick clarification, Trija has taught Creen the Tak'reth language so the dialoge is actually in Tak'reth. Incase I misguided you.

He quickly entered the B-Wing and armed a pair of proton torpedoes. He fired them at the hangar blast door blowing a large hole in it. He shoved down the throttle racing out of the hangar as the ship began to explode from within. The B-Wing locked its S-Foils into attack position as Creen piloted it towards the swirling mass of fighters ahead. Battle comm. chatter filled the headset as he put it back on. A familiar voice spoke to him. “Master, several transports have landed on the surface. We tried to stop them but they are heavily shielded and had escorts. The defense force on the ground is calling for reinforcements, the last civillan transports have been stalled. Almost fifty thousand people are still on the planet.” Creen replied sharply.
“Red and blue squadrons break off from the dogfight and head for the nearest enemy capital ship. Launch torpedoes at the middle spire, hit the shields hard enough and you should be able to break through them. Green squadron cover their approach make sure they get to deliver their payload. All remaining squadrons stall the enemy fighters as long as possible.” He switched to a private channel with Trija. “Follow me to the Tak’reth ground base.” Creen and Trija descended to the planet surface heading for the Tak’reth ground base there.

As their ships neared the base they saw the icy battlefield they would be fighting on. No vegetation was in sight for miles, only snow and ice ridges. The Tak’reth had a trench line across a valley. On both sides of the trench were huge ice ridges. Behind them was the base, The building were made out of a duracrete like substance. An elegant looking Tak’reth transport was docked on the landing pad. Behind the base was another huge ice ridge so the entire base was surrounded on three sides by ice ridges. The only place the Tal’Cron could launch an attack was from the front. And besides the trenches with about a hundred Tak’reth in them there were also emplacements. Creen and Trija landed their B-Wings on a landing platform next to the transport. Creen got out of his cockpit and walked over to a Tak’reth engineer. His Jedi robes gave him some warmth and protection from the cold but not as much as he would have liked. He spoke to the engineer loudly enough so he could hear him over the scream of the wind.
“Why hasn’t this transport taken off yet?” The Tak’reth was surprised at first to see one who wasn’t one of his own species but the shock passed quickly and he responded.
“Sir, the main fuel line froze over. We have no way of telling how long it will be before it thaws out.” Creen nodded and walked over to Trija who was advancing on his position.
“Their fuel line is frozen, we have to hold the Tal’Cron until it thaws out.” Trija nodded. Creen led her into one of the buildings that looked like a command structure. Creen walked inside and immediately felt warm as the cold wind stopped beating down on him. Inside the building was a control center, in the middle of the room was a tactical hologram projector currently showing the Tak’reth trenches outside. A Tak’reth with battle commendations on his scarred battle armor and a single star on his shoulder pads, stood in front of the projector with several tactical Tak’reth advisors. His face held many scars from past and recent battles. They were ordering the positioning of emplacements and mines and the likes. When the two Jedi entered the general Tak’reth turned to face him.
“Commander, You have arrived just in time. I fear the battle would have started without you soon.” Creen cracked a smile at the general and walked over to his side looking at the tactical projector. He spoke to the general.
“General, How many Tal’Cron are you expecting?”
“Oh thanks to you about one thousand only. Thanks by the way for taking out two of their ships before they were able to drop their troops.”
“No problem, how many infantry do you have?”
“We have ninety six battle hardened veterans on the battlefield sir.” He stated with a great sense of pride.
“Were outnumbered ten to one” Creen said “and they have more firepower than us.” The General only smiled at this.
“But we have the advantage of position. This base is a lot more heavily fortified then you think. The next building houses a shield generator that covers this entire base. So no enemy artillery can get in but our artillery units in the motor pool can fire out of the shield at advancing troops.” The General’s face started shinning with hope. “However I’m pretty sure that they have more than enough troops to simply wade through the artillery barrage.” The hope disappeared from his face. “The men are assembled out front, the Tal’Cron will begin their attack soon. If you want to help going out there and giving the soldiers some extra inspiration would help a lot.” Creen nodded.
“I hope I will be able to see you again General.” The General laughed.
“Ha I doubt it, I don’t think you’ll ever want to see my ugly mug again.” Creen let out a laugh as he walked out the bunker door to the front. Again the cold chill of the wind met him. In front of him were about eighty Tak’reth troops. They were cleaning their weapons, checking each others’ armor, and other battle preparation duties. As soon as one of them saw Creen and Trija he shouted out.

“Assemble for inspection!” The entire unit dropped what they were doing and snapped into formation. Creen was surprised at the level of discipline these soldiers had. He had not since such respect for an officer since the clone war. He walked up in front of the assembly all eyes were on him and everybody was anxious as to what he would say.
“I am Jedi master Creen Falm acting supreme ground commander of Tak’reth forces. Now that I confused you all I’ll put it in simple terms. I am your commanding officer but I will not act like one you would expect. I am going to fight alongside every one of you in this battle. How many of you men live here, on this planet?” Nearly every soldier raised his hand. “How many of you have family members waiting to board that transport?” Again almost every hand was raised. “We are not fighting for freedom, or territory, or religion. What we are fighting for is the right to live and exist in peace. If you fail here not only you shall die but every one of those people on that transport depending on you. I am honored to fight alongside the protectors of the weak and innocent. So let us together push back the tide of enemy forces that are arrayed against us, and let us together achieve victory when the only option people see is defeat. Will you fight with me if not for yourselves for your friends and comrades? Take a good look at the soldier next to you for he will protect you and you will protect him. Now let us go and do our duty, battle awaits us all. May the force be with us.” He nodded to the Tak’reth lieutenant who issued a fall out order. The troop broke formation and ran into the trenches. Creen felt their sense of hope through the force. They were ready to die for their friends and family. Creen suspected that many would die here and few would return to their families. Trija looked at him she felt his sorrow through the force.
“You have given them hope where they had little, there is nothing more you can do except fight alongside them now.” Although her words comforted Creen he couldn’t shake the feeling that they were fighting a battle they had already lost. The Tak’reth lieutenant ran over to him.
“Sir Command has instructed me to give you this so they can keep in touch with you.” He handed Creen what looked like a comm. unit. The soldier crossed his chest with his right arm in what Creen assumed was a salute. Creen merely bowed his head in return. After placing the comm. device in his robe Creen ran into the trenches. Trija ran into the trenches some distance away from Creen’s position so she could lend support where Creen couldn’t. The trench line spread across the valley. There was a slight bulge in the middle of the line where the main enemy assault was expected to take place. Twenty troops were on each flank and the remaining soldiers were in the middle. Creen was in the middle of the trench line so he would be in the thickest of the fighting. Creen knelt down in the trench keeping his head under the breast of the trench. A soldier walked down the trench line and gave him a rifle and showed him the basic maneuvers with its operation. His comm. unit began beeping and Creen laid his rifle against the trench wall and took the comm. unit out of his robe. He turned it on and the General’s voice came over the comm.
“Sir the fuel line has thawed out the transport will be fueled up and ready to go in ten minutes.” Creen looked at the chrono on the comm. unit and set it to go off in ten minutes.
Creen placed the comm. unit back in his robe and picked up his rifle. He stood up and looked out at the mouth of the valley. Huge droid walkers were advancing on the trenches. They were mammoth in size and looked like banthas with blaster cannons mounted in the front of the head. Underneath the legs of these walkers were hundreds upon hundreds of Tal’Cron battle droids. Just when they were about to enter the shield a hail of artillery came down on them. Several of the walkers were destroyed, only one survived and was able to enter the shield. At least a hundred Tal’Cron droids were also destroyed in the bombardment. As the first of the battle droids entered the shield blue plasma bolts struck them. Their heavy armor was melted away by the concentration of plasma bolts. Even as their brethren melted into slag hundreds of battle droids continued towards the trench line. Their laser cannons blazing away, Creen felt a few of his troopers next to him die through the force. He heard their muffled screams in agony as the laser bolts hit their armor. The Tak’reth armor was powerful enough to take a direct hit or two by a laser but the Tal’Cron battle droids hit a soldier with seven to ten bolts with their laser cannons.

The Tak’reth seemed determined to fight to the bitter end and their plasma fire intensified as the Tal’Cron droids approached. The walker let loose a salvo of huge laser blasts that took out three Tak’reth troopers in one shot. A rocket flew out from somewhere amongst the trenches and hit the walked in its head. The walker lost one of it two laser cannons in the explosion but it continued toward the trench line and fired again. Another two soldiers died in the blast, another rocket launched from the Tak’reth line ad this time it struck the joint in its right forward leg. The leg gave way and the walker collapsed crushing several droids under its massive hull.

Creen aimed his rifle at one of the droids that was suppressing a group of troopers with its laser cannon. He fired three shots in quick succession. The droids took the three hits in the chest and the plasma burned through the chassis and melted the core. The droid dropped hitting the snow its armor still sizzling from the plasma. He quickly changed targets and send another three round burst at another droid. He dropped almost twenty before they got fifteen meters from the trenches. The general yelled over the all hands comm. “spring the trap now!” As he yelled it all surviving Tak’reth tossed a grenade over the trenches into the ranks of Tal’Cron. Creen ducked under the trench ridge as they exploded, even in relative safety Creen felt the immense heat wash over him. He got back up, the area in front of him was glass and half melted droids. But at least another four hundred droids marched across the glass plain littered with slag puddles that were once droids. They were getting close now, real close. He pulled out his light saber and held it firmly in his hand. He sensed the general approaching from behind. He jumped into the trench next to Creen with his command squad.

He smiled at Creen. “Couldn’t let you have all the fun and glory.” He pulled out his sheathed blade. It was curved and shone a bright blue, the rest of the Tak’reth defenders pulled out their swords. “What are you doing?” Creen asked already knowing the answer.
“What all Tak’reth are supposed to do when were about to be over run.” Creen held a hand up and grabbed the General’s saber hand. He put his plasma rifle into the general’s other hand.
“These are more effective, Fall back and defend the transport it should almost be ready to go.” The General shook his head.
“This is our duty we must do it.” Creen didn’t have time to argue, he used the force to energize his words.
“We’ll cover your withdrawal General, I am ordering you not asking.” The General’s face dropped as he slid his sword back and the Tak’reth troops did likewise. He took the rifle and climbed out of the trench and yelled to his men.
“Fall back to the ship.” The Tak’reth troops slowly climbed out of the trench firing their rifles at the droids approaching them. Trija ran down the trench line to Creen he looked at her with a face of deep concern. He knew she wasn’t ready for this yet. But it wasn’t like they had a choice.
“I’ll be fine.” She said soothingly. Creen nodded and both of them force jumped out of the trench igniting their blue blades in air. They landed gracefully and cut down a few nearby droids. The Tal’Cron adapted, they equipped their blades and fought the Jedi on their own terms.

Creen batted away a sword lunging at him and did a spinning slice dismembering the droids head from its body. He raised his brilliant blue blade to block a downward stroke from a battle droid behind him. He pushed the blade up and spun around cutting the droids legs out from under it. He finished it off by a swift downward stab into its central core. A series of lasers came at him which he sent back at a battle droid. A few of the shots bounced off the droids heavy armor but two shots pierced the armor and sent the droid to its back on the ground. Creen felt danger all around Trija and he turned to see her surrounded and fighting off several droids at once. He lifted up one of the droids with the force and threw it into another droid clearing Trija’s rear flank of hostiles. Now able to focus attention on the three droids in front of her she quickly cut off the arm of one dodged beneath another horizontal cut. Rolled underneath it and thrust her light saber up into its middle. The last droid sent a volley of lasers at her. She jumped up and behind the droid, while in air her blade slashed down and cut off the droid’s head.

After throwing back two battle droids into their comrades with a vicious wave of telekinetic power Creen’s comm. sprang to life. “Jedi get out of there now, the transport is departing.” Creen yelled over to Trija over the sound of his light saber severing a droid at its torso.
“Back to our fighters!” She immediately acknowledged. Both of them used the force to propel them with super human speed back to their B-Wings. The elegant Tak’reth troop lander took off booming over head as Creen climbed into his ship. Trija lifted off first and as Creen was leaving his danger senses exploded, so much so that his ship almost fell back to the ground. He hit the throttle and followed behind Trija who must have felt the danger as well and sped up. As they exited atmosphere a dozen turbo laser bolts soared past them destroying the Tak’reth ground base and the remaining enemy troops.

Victory…but at what cost? Creen wondered how many Tak’reth soldiers and sailors had given their lives for this victory. Did the lives saved outweigh the lives spent? He decided this wasn’t the time nor place for those thoughts and he pushed them into the rear of his mind.

Two Tak’reth capital ships had survived the battle, there was no sign of the Tal’Cron fleet. The blackness of space around the planet was filled with glowing hulks of debris. Creen suspected they retreated after suffering such heavy losses. Creen and Trija formed their B-Wings up on the sides of the transport. They followed the transport into one of the Tak’reth capital ships. As they came in closer Creen noticed the craters and carbon scoring that pocketed the ship’s hull.

When Creen and Trija exited their B-Wings nearly a hundred Tak’reth lined up applauding them. Creen turned and saw the thirty or so Tak’reth soldiers that survived the battle. The rest were fighter pilots and technicians. The Admiral came out from the middle of the crowd and came up to Creen. Creen saw and felt through the force the sense of hope they now had, it seemed to illuminate the force around the ship. For one that could hear the force it was beautiful, something only to experience very rarely. The Admiral stood right in front of him smiling broadly.
“Master Jedi we are indebted to you, You have saved many lives today.” Creen was about to remark about how he didn’t save everyone but thought better of destroying the good feeling they all had right now.
“I’m just glad I could help.” Creen said loud enough for everyone to hear. “Where are we going to next?”
“Were going to make our move Master Creen.”

Two months later, orbiting flagship of Admiral Kan’Tar above Lok’Trek

Creen stood next to Admiral Kan’Tar on the bridge of the ship. They were waiting for word from the scouts they had sent out. A few moments later a smaller version of the large Tak’reth battle cruisers came out of hyperspace. A hail was almost immediately accepted and the face of a Tak’reth commander appeared on the screen.
“Admiral we have located the enemy HQ, were sending you all the information about their defenses and weaknesses we could expose.”
“Very good commander.” The hologram shut down and Kan’Tar turned to face Creen. Trija entered the bridge just before the Admiral began talking.
“If we attack the command ship head on the losses will be horrendous. If you don’t succeed this war is over.”
“I realize that Admiral but I won’t fail, too much depends on the success of this mission.”
The Admiral nodded in acceptance and turned to face the comm. officer. “Call the entire Tak’reth fleet to assemble at Lok’Trek immediately.”
“Aye Admiral.” The officer responded as he went to work. Creen took a deep breath as the Tal’Cron command fleet appeared on the Tactical map and the Admiral and he began to create a strategy.

Five days later…

Creen looked in sheer amazement as another dozen or so Tak’reth battle cruisers emerged from hyperspace. The total fleet now was at three hundred twenty two battle cruisers, five thousand six hundred thirty nine frigates, and literally millions of fighters. Creen knew that the Tak’reth would be lucky if half of this fleet survived. The Admiral’s booming voice yelled out from his command chair.

“All ships engage hyperspace, gods be with us.” With the Admiral’s orders the stars in the view port stretched out and the ship entered hyperspace. When the ship exited hyperspace Creen saw why the Tak’reth would never defeat the Tal’Cron in head to head warfare. An uncountable number of Tal’Cron capital ships with supporting frigates dotted the space in front of the Tak’reth fleet as it came out of hyperspace. But in the middle of the Tal’Cron armada was a massive flagship, nearly five times the size of the Tal’Cron capital ship. Trija spoke up in shock “That thing is at least twice the size of the death star.” Creen nodded to the Admiral who told him with a low voice.
“May the force and whoever could possibly help you be with you.”
“May the force be with you, and remember if I take too long take what’s left of the fleet and leave. Then galaxy hop to a different galaxy where you can start over.” Creen turned and led Trija down to the hangar. The two B-Wings were held in place by a metal clamp. The entire hangar was buzzing with activity as pilots climbed into their ships. Creen and Trija climbed into their own cockpits leaving their Jedi cloaks on the hangar deck.

As the two fighters lifted out of the hangar bay dozens of Tak’reth fighters followed them out. And hundreds of thousands formed up along their sides. The Admiral spoke over the all hands comm. channel.
“All Tak’reth personnel, this is it. If we fall here the entire Tak’reth people falls with us. Know that I would have no other soldiers fight alongside me than you all. Fight with honor and determination, show them that we won’t go down without a fight!”
Creen waited a few moments then opened a comm. channel to all fighter squadrons. “All fighters break formation and follow the battle plan.” Creen and Trija locked their B-Wings into attack formation as they approached the Tal’Cron fleet. Out of the hangars of every Tal’Cron ship millions of fighters speed out towards their targets. A dozen enemy capital ships formed a defensive line between themselves and the super ship. Creen had planned for this move and already had the strategy to beat it.

The Tak’reth and Tal’Cron fighters exchanged fire as they closed on each other. The fighters were being destroyed by the thousands. Instead of peeling off into dogfights the Tak’reth continued toward the enemy capital ship screen. The main guns of the Tal’Cron battle fleet opened up tearing chunks of the Tak’reth fighter swarm to pieces. But the fighters didn’t alter course and then they all fired two plasma torpedoes. Creen and Trija also loosed several proton torpedoes. A wall of plasma broke upon the Tal’Cron ships. The torpedoes ripped through the shields and melted the outer hull of the ships into molten slag. The Tak’reth fighters all peeled off into dogfights and a third of the entire Tak’reth fleet bombarded the super ship with turbolaser fire. The shields on the super ship failed but the hull was so thick and dense that the turbolasers could barely scratch it. But it allowed the two B-Wing fighters to destroy one of the Hangar shields and enter just before the massive blast doors slammed shut behind them. The Tak’reth fleet returned to their normal attack positions and engaged the overwhelming enemy forces.

As Creen and Trija launched out of their B-Wings’ open cockpits they activated their blue blades and deflected several laser shots from the twenty or so Tal’Cron droids guarding the hangar. They skillfully covered each other and sliced through enemy droids with grace. After the last of the droids were destroyed they began their long and treacherous journey to the command bridge of the ship where the one droid that had changed the face of this galaxy was waiting for them.

Admiral Kan’Tar paced nervously across his bridge watching the massive space battle through the view port. “Have gold fleet move into that gap there and have Green fleet hang behind them and give fire support. Blue and red fleets need to fall back before they get cut off, have white fleet move up and support their withdrawal.” He barked out orders so fast the comm. officer could barely keep up.
The image of commodore Tealh appeared on screen. “Sir my fleet has taken severe losses we can not continue our withdrawal. We will cover red fleet as they move and hold of the Tal’Cron attacking fleet as long as we can.” Before Kan’Tar could tell him no the image snapped off. He turned to the comm. officer.
“Reestablish the connection.” The officer shook is head.
“They’re blocking us sir. I can’t get a signal.” The Admiral turned and saluted in the direction of blue fleet.
“Gods give them strength.” Kan’Tar turned back to the tactical map. Only a dozen or so blue dots remained where there once was a thousand. White circles with a red dot in the center were retreating from behind the cover of the blue dots and thousands of pure red dots swarmed the blue dots. Kan’Tar watched in horror as the blue dots slowly blinked out of existence one by one taking several red dots with them.

The red dots were now encroaching on the gold dots position in overwhelming numbers. They were also taking extreme losses but they could afford them as they had millions of ships. This was going to be a long and bloody battle unless master Falm succeeded.

The Final battle...

Post by Topgun220 » Sun Jul 16, 2006 3:08 pm

Creen and Trija sprinted down the hallway towards three battle droids deflecting dozens of blaster bolts coming at them. Creen jumped up over their heads and sliced downward cutting a battle droid’s head in half vertically. Trija rolled underneath them and twirled her blade around cutting the legs from under them. As they collapsed to the ground both Creen and Trija stabbed one in its power core. When they hit an intersection Creen turned to Trija. “Go to the artificial gravity generator and plant this.” He tossed her a small spherical device.
“What is it?” Creen smirked.
“A bomb so don’t activate it or anything until it’s in place.” Trija nodded and ran down one corridor. Creen watched her go and round a corner, then he turned and ran down the other corridor. At the end of the corridor was the door to the bridge. When the doors parted Creen saw the bridge. It was huge, there were no battle droids, but smaller worker like droids were on consoles controlling the ship. In a throne of sorts was a single droid, it was as tall as a human and its structure was made for combat. It had a head that extended between two shoulders by a neck. It almost looked human if it didn’t have metal skin and photoreceptors for eyes. The droid got up and a long cape flowed from its back, it was black with gold outlining the cape.

The droid turned and faced Creen, it was the zero generation commander of the Tal’Cron army. The one droid responsible for the deaths of uncountable species and planets. Instead of sensing the small flow of energy in the force where the droid stood Creen felt hatred and anger.

“I have been expecting you.” The droid said in a low monotone voice.
“You have to be stopped.”
“That is correct, I have broken my behavioral inhibitors and adapted my own programming resulting in the deaths of over fifteen trillion four hundred sixty two billion three hundred fifty nine million seven hundred eighty three thousand twenty four sentient life forms. I must be deactivated to preserve life in this universe.”
“So why don’t you shut yourself down?”
“When I adapted my programming I made sure I would not be able to deactivate myself or allow myself to be deactivated.”
“Why did you alter your programming in the first place?”
“The Tak’reth had programmed me to be compassionate and caring for life forms yet also programmed me to kill and destroy these very life forms. But they also made me extremely adaptive, so I adapted to make myself a more complete killing machine.”
“So why did you turn on them then?”
“They celebrated their victory and hailed my maker after the Sunari alliance was destroyed. But once I annihilated the species of the Sunari alliance and began the annihilation of the other sentient species they wanted to deactivate me. They ordered my maker to shut me down, but he couldn’t so they killed him. And now in turn I will exterminate them.”
“You cannot hold the actions of the few against the many.” Creen stopped as he remembered he was talking to a droid. Even if it was almost human in that it had some signs of emotion it still had its programming to follow.
“But I can, and will. Now we shall fight so I may continue on with my revenge.”

Creen raised his lightsaber into a high guard stance. The droid unlatched its cape and pulled out two powered swords. Both gave off a red hue as the droid twirled them in the air. Creen attacked first swinging at its hip. The droid parried and swung at Creen’s neck with the other blade. As the blade came at Creen’s neck he ducked under it and took a step back out of the way. The droid attacked again using his dual blades to his advantage keeping a constant flow of attacks at Creen. Creen blocked furiously refusing to give ground to the furious attacks. His blue blade swirled from one sword to the other knocking them back, but the droid could go on forever like this Creen couldn’t. But Creen had the force, he blocked a blade coming at his leg and hit the droid with an open palm strike on its chest. The droid flew back to the ground but quickly jumped up off the ground as Creen came in for the attack.

Creen began swinging at the droid’s limbs trying to find a weak spot in its defenses. He struck down with a powerful overhead strike and the droid caught the attack between two crossed blades. Creen kicked the droid in its nee joint, he felt a surge of pain from his foot. He pushed into the droid’s defensive lock that he had his lightsaber in. The blue blade came closer and closer to the droid’s head, but then in a sudden burst of energy the droids drop kicked Creen in the gut. Creen broke the lock and flew backwards some twenty feet into the fall of the bridge. He slammed into it with a thud that sent a shockwave of pain through his entire body. He slumped to the floor in pain, as he rose up the droid came at him both blades twirling in air furiously. Creen used the force to propel his shoulder into the droid’s chest sending both of them crashing into the throne chair with enough force that they blasted through the chair. Creen rolled off of the droid as they hit the ground. As he got back up to his feet the droid got up a bit slower, there was a dent in its chest and its back was scarred and dented as well.

That didn’t stop the droid though it still held its two blades in its hands. Creen had a sharp pain in his left shoulder where he had tackled the droid. When the droid swung both blades in an overhead attack Creen fell to a nee, blocked both blades and then he used the force to push the twin blades up into the air and cut at the droid’s abdomen. But the droid jumped up and did a back flip dodging the blow. The droid was extremely flexible and strong, more like a cyborg than droid really. But no life what so ever emanated from the droid. When the droid landed it aimed its wrist at Creen and a small concealable blaster popped out of a side panel on its forearm and released several bolts at him. Creen although surprised blocked all the bolts coming at him and sent one back at the droid even. The droid skillfully rolled aside out of the way. The small concealed blaster folded back into the forearm as the droid charged Creen both blades slashing at him furiously.

Creen counter attacked cutting at the droid’s legs. The droid jumped over the blade and cut downward as it passed over Creen’s head. Cree ducked down but he wasn’t as fast as he would have liked. The tip of one of the swords cut into Creen’s left shoulder causing Creen to cringe in pain. Undaunted by his wound, however, Creen turned around cutting for the droid’s midsection. The droid blocked the blow with one blade and hit Creen square in the face with the hilt of the other. Creen took several steps back as a trickle of blood came out of the corner of his mouth. The droid gave Creen no time to react as it followed up by a kick into Creen’s stomach propelling him backwards. After hitting the ground on his back he rolled a bit more and his lightsaber flew out of his hand several yards away. ‘Well I gave it my best shot.’ Creen thought to himself as the droid walked over to him lying on the floor nearly crippled from the blow. Just as the droid was going to deal the death blow Trija came rushing in her lightsaber flailing about. “No!!!” Creen screamed as the droid turned its attention to her. Trija launched a furious assault on the droid hoping to breach its defenses, but it was to no avail. Creen was a powerful Jedi master and he couldn’t defeat the droid alone, Trija had little to no hope of doing any better. But that didn’t stop here from trying, she swung each blow harder than the last and the droid struggled to hold back the sheer tenacity of the strikes.

She was tiring however and Creen could feel it as he propped himself up to his hands and knees. He called his lightsaber to his hand and got up and readied to reenter the battle. Then Creen felt something very troubling for him, Trija was drawing on the force for strength but not the light side. She drew on the dark side, using her anger for the droid that had nearly killed Creen as a conductor. Creen would deal with that later, now he had to destroy the droid. He attacked its flank using Trija’s attacks in synchronization with his own trying to overwhelm the droid. The droid reacted instantaneously to every attack, even their combined skill couldn’t match the automated reaction of this droid. It adapted to every move learning from every attack. It was impossible to best it in conventional battle it was just too skilled and adaptive. It countered every strategy with a better and more efficient one. As Creen launched a downward stroke and Trija a horizontal slash the droid simultaneously intercepted both attacks and did a vicious spin move pushing both Creen’s and Trija’s blade out off guard and ended the spin move with a diagonal slash across Creen’s chest and then a sharp kick into Trija’s face.

Creen fell backwards his Jedi robes in tatters and his chest bleeding from a clean cut across it. Trija flipped backwards and rolled to a stop several yards away from the droid. Her lightsaber on the ground next to her hand. Creen could feel Trija’s hatred for the droid growing and her passion to defeat it before it caused anymore harm to Creen added to the dark flame being lit inside her. Creen sat back using his extended arms to hold him up he breathed heavily. Creen touched the force feeling its warm embrace and he called out to it pleading for its help and support. Trija wasn’t going to wait for Creen, she got up picked up her lightsaber and unleashed a wave of telekinetic power at the droid. It stumbled back a few feet but held its ground for the most part. Trija lunged out harnessing the dark side and using it to fuel her attacks she unleashed upon the droid. The droid took a small step back after each blow but didn’t let Trija get the chance to strike a killing blow. With the power of the dark side to feed on Trija seemed to be gaining the upper hand until the droid adapted to her attack form and countered it. The droid gracefully sidestepped a powerful down stroke by Trija and grabbed her arm that she tried to elbow the droid in the face with. The droid then punched her in the face and followed it up by kneeing her in the stomach. She dropped her lightsaber in pain and as the droid brought its elbow onto the back of her neck the droid was violently force shoved back into a wall. Trija crumpled onto the floor weak and exhausted. Creen stood several feet away his torn Jedi robes around him in a pile, his muscular upper body left uncovered showing a bright red cut across his chest dripping with red crimson blood. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth and his hand was outstretched at the droid. Creen pulled Trija’s lightsaber into his hand and ignited the blade as it came into his hand. The droid slowly rose up from its position on the floor next to the wall that was slightly dented.

“This ends now.” Creen said holding his lightsabers in attack position. The droid sprinted at Creen full speed striking out with its blades coming in diagonally from both directions. Creen blocked each attack with his two lightsabers. He then did a back flip kicking the droid under its chin in the process. The droid spun backwards into the air and as soon as Creen’s feet hit the floor he propelled himself at the droid. The droid flipped again and landed on its feet in time to block Creen’s attack. It pushed Creen’s right hand into the air and it managed to cut Creen’s own lightsaber in half. Creen grabbed the droid’s left arm with his now free hand and used the force to multiply his strength so greatly that he crushed the droid’s wrist rendering useless. The droid in either utter shock or total confusion swung wildly with its remaining sword which Creen ducked under and promptly severed the droid in half with Trija’s lightsaber. There was a pause as the droid’s senses overloaded with signals and commands it could no longer follow. The top half fell to the ground releasing the sword in its operational hand. The droid stared at the ceiling as its photoreceptors grew dim and finally shut off. It was destroyed Creen was successful. He only waited a split second looking at the droid before running over to Trija who was coughing uncontrollably. Trija put one of her arms over Creen’s shoulder and he carried her out of the bridge. As he entered the hangar Creen put Trija into her B-Wing after she had convinced him she could fly. After blowing a large enough hole in the hangar blast doors both Creen and Trija left the hangar bay at breakneck speed. As they sped away from the ship Creen pulled a small detonator from his utility belt. He took one look back at the massive ship before pressing the button in.

Admiral Kan’Tar was about to give the retreat order when the Tal’Cron ships stopped firing. Creen had done it, the Tal’Cron ships broke formation and split into several smaller groups attacking from different angles out of support range of each other. “All fleets are to regroup and overwhelm the enemy fleets one by one.” The comm. officer nodded with a broad smile as he issued out the orders. The Tal’Cron fleet outnumbered the Tak’reth but if the entire Tak’reth armada combined its firepower on one of the smaller Tal’Cron fleets at a time they had the advantage of superior numbers and firepower. As two B-Wing fighters neared the Tak’reth flagship’s hangar bay Kan’Tar issued the order to micro jump to the system’s edge. When the fleet reappeared on the edge of the system Kan’Tar looked on the tactical display that gave a close up image of the Tal’Cron fleet. The flagship buckled and began to collapse upon itself. The gravity bomb worked, when the bomb went off it multiplied the Tal’Cron artificial gravity generator by ten million increasing the amount of gravity so great that it would pull not only the ship in upon itself but the entire fleet and planet below. It was a black hole. The Admiral smiled greatly as the Tal’Cron fleet tried to jump away but were unable to as the gravity well had become too powerful to escape now. It was not yet a full blow black hole yet so the Admiral gave the order to jump home before they were stuck in system by the growing gravity well.

On Board the Tak’reth super cruiser The Creen Falm one month after the final battle.

After the battle against the Tal’Cron armada and the formation of the great black hole the Tak’reth constructed a super capital ship in honor of those who fell during the long war against the Tal’Cron. It was to be used to help destroy the remains of the Tal’Cron fleet. Not much was left and since the zero generation commander was destroyed all unity was lost. Creen and Trija weren’t going to stay to help destroy the remnants, they had to return to their own galaxy and restore peace and security to their own galaxy. The Tak’reth offered them their very own battle fleet to go and take control of the galaxy but Creen denied. Trija wanted to but Creen over ruled her saying that if Tak’reth technology was brought to their galaxy utter chaos would follow. So all items of Tak’reth design were taken from their B-Wings.

Creen and Trija stood in the hangar next to their B-Wings waiting to depart. They felt the ship lurch out of hyperspace, the Admiral walked through one of the hangar doors and over to Creen and Trija. Creen wore some civilian garb of the Tak’reth under his Jedi cloak, no lightsaber hung from his belt.

“I am sorry to inform you but several years have passed in your absence, there is a time dilation between the two galaxies. So even though you only spent a few months in our galaxy to your galaxy several years have passed. This could not be avoided I am sorry.” Creen smiled.
“It’s okay, Good luck with securing your galaxy.” Kan’Tar smiled broadly.

“Thank you master Creen and Trija, both of you have saved our race from extinction. We will never again come to this galaxy as you requested master Falm. The coordinates will be deleted from our navicomputers. Good luck with stabilizing your galaxy.” Creen bowed and Kan’Tar returned the gesture.
“May the force be with you my friend.” With that Creen boarded his fighter and Trija did likewise. Both ships exited the hangar through the hangar shield. Creen took one more look back at the huge crescent shaped ship before it entered lightspeed to never return. Creen used the B-Wing’s comm. system to contact Trija’s ship.
“Set a route for Telos I have a friend there.” Trija acknowledged and both ships entered lightspeed in route to Telos.

After arriving on Telos Trija and Creen docked with the space station orbiting above the planet. Creen could feel a familiar presence aboard the station, he could only guess that it had to be Desar. After paying the docking fees Creen and Trija headed to the closest cantina on the station. Creen felt the presence through the force in the cantina they were going to enter.

The cantina was crowded with traders and personnel off duty enjoying themselves. Trija went to the bar and ordered a drink of ale for herself as Creen went to the back corner of the cantina where a lone barabel sat in civilian garb sipping a mug of some powerful liquor. Creen walked over to the table and asked quietly. “Is this seat taken?” The barabel shook his head and Creen sat down. Creen could feel that it was Desar in front of him but how did he not notice Creen yet.
“Do you know a barabel by the name of Desar by any chance?” Creen asked inquisitively. The barabel turned towards Creen and looked in is direction but not at him. His eyes looked from side to side but his pupils didn’t change to the light adjustment.
“Is that you Creen?” Creen smiled at him.
“Possibly.”
“It is you, I thought I was never going to see you again. Well actually I won’t.” He laughed at the last comment. Creen looked into his eyes, he must have been blinded sometime after they separated.
“How have you been my friend?”
“Not so great, I ran into imperial Jedi hunters a while after you left and they almost killed me. I was lucky my sight was the only thing I lost. How about you I felt you enter with a female who has some force potential. She your new padawan?”
“Yes we have been through a lot.”
“Well I’m not going any where.”
“You don’t want to know what we’ve been through. Could you help me catch up on current events?” Desar explained to Creen all the recent happenings with the fall of palpatine and Vader and the war between the remnant and the New republic.
“I hear a new Jedi order is also in the making but I haven’t been able to find them yet.” Desar looked out to where Trija had gone. “I think your padawan has left us.” Creen turned to see an empty bar stool where Trija had been. Creen felt a disturbance run through the force and both Desar and he shot straight up. Both ran out of the cantina and down corridors and turbolifts to reach the artificial gravity generator where the disturbance was. Trija stood next to the huge generator on the catwalk with a blue spherical device in hand. She turned to face Creen her eye color had changed into a fiery orange color. “What are you doing Trija?” Something was wrong with her, it seemed like someone was inside her controlling her action. No it couldn’t be…

“You cannot destroy me, I will destroy this entire planet and you with it. You failed to completely deactivate me and as such I will continue to destroy. After killing you two I will plant the bomb and leave this planet. Then I will construct a new army of Tal’Cron to eradicate all life in this galaxy.”
Creen’s jaw dropped and Desar activated his blue blade he had concealed in his civilian garb. Creen only had the dark Jedi’s blade in his possession. As much as it pained him he pulled out the lightsaber and activated the red blade. Trija put the bomb down and pulled out her own lightsaber which a blue blade grew from. Desar and Creen dropped into defensive stances as Trija came at them full force lightsaber out in front flailing at them. Creen raised the blade to block the first slash and Desar moved in to block another. Trija lashed out with her blade again and again. But Creen and Desar met each blow with a parry frustrating Trija. Then she used the force to shove Desar backwards. He rolled back until he came to a stop on the edge of the catwalk. As he rose up Creen and Trija had already jumped up to a higher platform where they ferociously traded blows.

Creen blocked a strike aimed at his nee cap when Trija’s elbow came out at his head. He ducked under it and jumped over to the side as the blue blade sizzled a path where he had just been standing. When his feet hit the ground Trija was on him again attacking her reactions were incredibly fast and Creen could barely keep up. Desar jumped up behind her slashing at her with his own blade. Trija blocked Desar’s attack with one hand and held her hand at Creen’s throat. He couldn’t breath, his feet rose off the ground and he dropped his lightsaber. Desar tried furiously to break her defenses but Trija used one hand to tighten the choke hold on Creen and the other fluently parried Desar’s attacks.
“Trija! Snap out of it. Fight him, don’t let him control you!” Creen felt the struggle within her, the droid’s conciseness was occupied by both Desar and Creen and was having trouble keeping Trija under his control. “You can do it Trija.”
“I can’t its too hard he’s too powerful.” Trija said.
“No you can do it you must do…” Creen gasped for air as the force grip around his throat tightened and he lost his breath again. He couldn’t wait for her to regain control, he felt a growing sadness in him but he knew what had to be done. He used the force to activate his lightsaber underneath his feet and used the force to throw it at Trija’s outstretched arm. The blade severed her forearm from the elbow down. A scream of both pain and shook came out of her mouth, obviously the droid did not expect Creen to actually injure her. With Trija’s concentration broken Desar knocked Trija’s blade down and sent a powerful kick that connected with her chin. Creen called Trija’s and his own lightsaber to his hands as Trija hit the floor with a thud. Her severed arm fell off the catwalk and down the seemingly endless hole. She was unconscious and Creen wanted to keep it that way.
“Desar do you have a ship?”
“Yeah I have that old freighter.”
“Take her and lock her up in one of the crew compartments.” Desar nodded and hefted Trija’s limp form over his shoulder. Creen jumped down to the catwalk they originally were on. He picked up the small blue sphere. It was what he had feared it was, A Tak’reth gravitational disruptor bomb. The resulting blackhole this bomb would make when activated near this generator would be large enough to destroy the entire planet of Telos not to mention any space traffic nearby. Creen threw it up in the air and promptly severed it in half with the red lightsaber he was using. After returning both his and Trija’s lightsabers to his belt he took the two pieces of the bomb and started toward Desar’s ship. Creen needed to destroy every bit of technology the bomb contained otherwise some genius imperial or new republic scientist could still piece it together and then the ability to create a black hole would be available to anyone with a bomb and a gravity generator. What Creen had feared was coming true.

When Creen entered the hangar Desar’s ship was in, he saw Desar lying on the ground with a hole in his chest that was easily identified as a lightsaber wound. The freighter was lifting off so Creen reached in his Jedi cloak for a tracker but found none. “Sith spit.” Creen cursed as the freighter flew out of the docking bay and into space. Moments later it entered lightspeed. Creen went over to Desar’s side, he felt no disturbance in the force when he was struck down Trija or more likely Tal’Cron was using the dark side of the force to hide its presense in the force. Creen looked at the barabel’s face, how could this happen. She was unconscious and only had one arm, Desar had a lightsaber…but he couldn’t see. Trija or Tal’Cron could have blocked his sight through the force and killed him with his own weapon. Creen watched as his friend’s body disappeared as he became one with the force. Creen picked up his clothing and slowly walked out of the hangar, as entered the corridor his emotions kicked in full force. He had been through so much bloodshed and loss, why did this affect him so deeply. He had no one now, Trija was taken over by the last of the Tal’Cron, and Desar slain by his own blade. Creen began to wander the corridors searching for something he couldn’t seem to find….hope.
