She laughed in a voice rusty from disuse. In truth, she hadn't spoken to anyone in a couple of years, not since she encountered one Ashin Varanin deep in the Unknown Regions. And that had been nothing more than a brief warning of an enemy patrol. Certainly the conversation hadn't gone on nearly this long. In fact, come to think of it, this was her longest conversation in over a hundred years.

She had not survived thousands and thousands of years by involving herself. Even this much involvement was atypical.

"In truth, the Sith temple you visited belonged to the Sith Enclave, which was called the Sith Covenant. It is not ancient. Velok raided it thoroughly, and left that lightsabre for you on a later trip, as a reward. He has no use for it. The curved hilt is best suited to the style of combat called Makashi, which he does not use. I'm not consulting my usual sources of knowledge, simply guessing based on the way you hold it, that you use Makashi. That sabre is relatively recent, perhaps three or four thousand years old. It comes from the great Sith Lords of the original Dark Council, who served the Sith Emperor. Use it if you wish. It is a worthy trophy.

"I will permit one final question, Resen Viper. I have things to do, here, floating in interstellar space."

Resen thought very well this last question....

''Tell me,will i ever get involved in politics?Am i that person who will build an Empire? Will i get high on the Centrality...give me your opinion and prophecy..i shall follow it..and live with it...i trust your wisdom..and i will acept your words even if they are negative..i want to know what i will be...and give me a straight reply because i know you can...''He waited almost still for a reply that could get his future into his mind..he knew the frost witch could do it..

"Destiny is a dangerous idea, Resen Viper. Freedom of choice is paramount. I could say yes, and you could choose otherwise, or make choices that would lead in other directions. Me giving you a prophecy does not bind you to one time stream. Anything can happen.

"But in the majority of outcomes I glimpse, if you continue your Sith training and learn the politics of the Dark Council, then yes, you will become a full member of the Dark Council in your own right, a Sith Lord. Anything else is also up to you.

"Now leave me, little Sith."

Resen bowed at her and smiled.''Thank you for everything frost witch..thank you...''

He returned to his ship and decided to keep all her words only for him and no one else...he then opened his holoprojector and contacted Velok.

''My Master...''He said bowing.''I completed my meeting with the forst witch and i am stand by for orders...what is your bidding my Lord?''

Resen knew he had swear to himself not to say anything but he respected his master...

''We spoke about Sith History master...she taught me some sith magic...and she said i have some chances of being the...chosen one...the sith'ari..she said me about the lightsaber and my possibilities in the future.''

The effect on Velok was sudden and pronounced. The Whiphid hunched forward, eyes bright. "She taught you? And she called it Sith magic? You're sure?...yes, yes you are. You have the gift, then. You know how few Masters of the Dark Side have that gift, Resen? The things you can learn...

"But not from me. I know more Force techniques than anyone alive, but I don't have that gift. I'll continue your training, of course, but if you wish to learn that, you need to find someone willing to teach you. There aren't many who know it. Sirena might, but she would find some way of controlling you. Kabal probably wouldn't unless you joined the Sith Enclave. I hear his associate Yuddic at the Sith Academy claims to know it. Within the Centrality, there's only Darth Ahkris, who is very, very hard to impress.

"There's also Ashin Varanin's Skull Holocron, which might know it. Maybe.

"You're on your own with this one, Resen. If you want any of them to teach you, you need to impress them or give them a very good reason."

Resen leaned forward...''Master...you say that...i dont have any other mission to do?

Can i do whatever i want?I am in your disposal master...''As Resen wanted to show Velok he was his true apprentice and wanted to do his bidding...

''I will expand my skills after i know my master doesnt need me currently for something...''

(OOC-Up to you buddy what to do with him i want to continue RPing with you here though ;) its great! )

"By the Force, no, Resen! I will continue to have missions for you for quite some time. In the meantime, though, you have a mission more important, and more difficult, than any you have done before. It may last for months. You'll learn great things in the process, and your skills of deception will be greatly tested.

"The Patriots are the Force users who serve a remote government called the Jade Empire, deep in the Unknown Regions. You are near Celesta; from there you can take the Emerald Way into the Unknown Regions. You will be part of a convoy guarded at various places by Jade Empire, Kartanin Dominion and Trade Federation ships - they share guard duties along that route. It is still dangerous.

"Once you get to the Jade Empire, your task is to infiltrate the Patriots. They are mostly Lightsiders, but they do have a few Darksiders as well. They are law-abiding people, like our Central Command Operatives. Do not underestimate Matthe'i Salphoris, Akemi Nakamura, Lukiel Miisa, or especially the Kartanin exile Kalo-Kaa. You will need to pass interviews; they are used to taking powerful Darksiders, but only after they are sure. The training may try your patience, but this is important.

"Find the Patriots patrolling the slums of the ruined world Trevel'ka. Tell them anything you like, but the closer to the truth it is, the better. They are not easily fooled."

"I'll be in touch. One thing at a time. Depending on various factors, I may have you simply report on their training methods and numbers, take a position within the organization, kill someone, or steal something from Loki Station. Go to Trevel'ka, and remember - these are dangerous, intelligent people. Your lie must be close to the truth."

''I shall not fail you my master...''Resen closed the transmission and got to the cockpit of his ship to meet the convoy in the Emerald way.

While he was passing from the patrols and all those things he was thinking of a person he couldnt believe he was thinking about...Folai!He was thinking of her and her training with Velok as also what she was thinking about him.He was emotianlly attached to her now..he was also thinking the frost witch's words about that he might kill her marry her or whatever..the destiny..he knew that he was something important after that meetng and started seeing the world with another point of view.

Inspired by Darth Tyrannus...Resen wanted to use his public identity where it mattered to achieve goals but not from now...correct planning manipulation and toying with many ideas was the correct path from him.....

Trade Federation ships once again in the galaxy...that was something the young Sith had never saw...those lizards where operating once again in the galaxy and Resen had heared stories about their evil greedy but also coward nature and their dealings with the Sith.

After he entered the Jade Empire he decided not to call Velok but search for them alone...he remembered the name Travel'ka and he headed for there..he soon was near with some patrios and decided to play it cool...gentle...and naive...

''Hello,i am Drake Sros...i am coming from the Centrality systems and i heard about you from a friend who wanted to join you but never did...''He was talking to a person who held the Patrios logo and seemed interested in his case. But Resen didnt want to tell many lies but keep close to the truth...

The Patriot frowned. "Centrality? The Sith'ari Centrality? That's an awful long way to have travelled, son." His name was Hiro Masamune, police officer first class, and unlike many fellow Patriots he'd actually travelled to parts of the 'known' galaxy. He'd spent time at the Ossus Jedi Temple on exchange. "Still, we get all sorts out here, and I daresay you have enough honesty about you and enough darkness to have looked for people like us. We tend to accept people for who they are. If you have some Sith training, like I suspect, that's not a huge barrier to fitting in around here. Some of my best friends used to be Darksiders, or still are.

"You're in luck. The mobile space city Shang Ra'la is in orbit right now, and there's a senior Patriot onboard who you can meet with." He pulled out a heavy-duty, long-range comlink. "Hammertong, this is Skull."

"Go ahead, Skull. How's life?"

"Pretty decent down here. We've got a live one for you - I smell the Dark Side, but he seems like he could be on the level. Wants to join the Patriots. Guess someone told him we're some kind of support group, Darksiders Anonymous."

"Well, we are."

"Roger that, Hammertong. Shall I send him up?"

"Wait one, Skull. There's a transport leaving Caelum in half an hour. I'll handle it from there. Hammertong out."

"All right," said Masamune. "Some things to know about the Patriots. We all have real jobs. I'm a cop, Fadin Kurn - Hammertong - is a sergeant in the Household Guard, my buddy Keito is a medic. We don't mind it if you're a Darksider. Keep the law and you'll be fine. Just don't go trying to turn our people to the Dark Side." He pointed across the million-man slum at a jammed spaceport. "Head over there, find the JEAF supply transport, tell them Masamune sent you, and they'll take you up to the Shang Ra'la. Good luck, kid."

Resen followed the steps that Masamune gave him and in moments he was aboard the Shang Ra'la.From there Resen waited someone to take him to the leader of the Patriots possible.

The interior of the space city was much like the interior of a starship; in some places, only a few, it was just bare rock. A man in a black naval uniform escorted Resen from the transport to a chamber deep within the asteroid city. It contained a number of chairs, all padded but not overly comfortable. On one sat a woman in her late twenties with red hair, blue skin, and red tattoos all across her face. Her lightsabre was curved. The other was a huge Kartanin with striped fur. His lightsabre was half metal and half a huge claw from some animal.

Both were Lightsiders. Both were strong.

"Hello,"said the woman. "My name is Fadin Kurn, and this is my friend Kalo-Kaa. We hear you want to join the Patriots.

"We're not nearly as formal an organization as the Jedi or the Sith. We do have some training facilities, and if you are cleared by us you will enter Class One training. Everyone does, no matter what their background or level of training.

"So tell us about yourself, Drake. Where were you born? What kind of family did you have? Where were you trained? How did you learn you were Force-sensitive?"

Beorht wrote:"Whatever my feelings about my orders, telling you our objectives would be treason. My apologies." She smiled without feeling. "And there are some things I'm not privileged to know. I'm a fairly senior Sith - a match for your Huntresses, I'd imagine - but my commander places a high priority on compartmentalization of information. Which is to say, he's rather secretive even by Sith standards.

"On the other hand, there are those of us who would rather see a more reasonable individual in charge."
Beorht wrote:"I appreciate you asking. A lightsaber is personal to the builder - that one is a part of me. I hope you'll take it as a measure of my willingness to make things go smoothly that I could activate it from over here and cut down, oh, plenty of people. I might even gain an advantage. But despite my orders, I am not a bloodthirsty person. And I certainly don't mean to alarm you."
Chris, getting the hint that the lightsaber was too personal an object, left the hilt be. But something else was starting to dawn on her. Kelen seemed to be conflicted. Twice now she hinted to the fact that her orders would have her kill as many SA personnel here as possible, even if it meant her death which would certainly be the case. Chris looked at a nearby huntress, unspoken words passed between them, while cautious some of the Huntresses were picking up on it too. She looked back to Kelen and walked up to her, holding out an arm as a show for Kelen to walk with her. Her whisper was enough that only the two of them could hear. "Can I ask for your personal opinion then?"
"This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode."

Kelen gently but firmly removed her arm as they left the hangar. "Apologies," she said, "but not all of the officers and crewers in that room feel as I do. To appear to be in collusion with you would be, at this stage, a very bad idea.

"You must understand," she said, "that the nature of the Sith political system is very fluid, very open to change. It's not treason to depose the leader; it simply shows you're stronger than he is, and thus deserve to be in charge. So there's no such thing as treason against the leader, just treason against the state. And that's where my loyalties lie: with the Sith'ari Centrality. Darth Sarastro has done much good, but this assault was a misstep.

"I have allies within the Dark Council, powerful ones. Darth Kharonos is one of the most intellectual Sith Lords alive, a prodigy and a family man, very altruistic. Ashin Varanin is a voice for justice, so much so that she executed a Sith for murdering a commoner. She is also the apprentice of Darth Sirena, the Sith Empress, so she has connections beyond just the Sith'ari Centrality. There are others. And though I respect Sarastro and his friends - I was even one of them - it is clear to me that they do not truly know how to govern.

"This war is a waste of lives and resources. I know it, and my allies know it. And once they learn I've been captured, I'm certain you'll be hearing from them. Of course the Centrality forces will continue to attack until they achieve their objectives or the Dark Council changes their orders. The key question here is whether a concerned group could change the will...or the leadership...of the Council."

*** *** ***

Deep space, some distance from Thesstria

The Kinrath wallowed in space, making necessary repairs. The Venator-class Star Destroyers Tulak Hord and Belia Darzu drifted alongside. The captured, disabled starfighters had been shuttled over to their engineers, who were examining and evaluating the Systems Alliance's level of technology. The curious particle beams were the main focus of their investigations, though they also examined sensor data of the battlesuit that had been flown against the Kinrath and the Ajunta Pall.

The massive Allegiance-class Star Destroyer Vectivus, twice the size of the Kinrath, drew alongside. A group of Munificent-class frigates followed in its wake, having journeyed with it from the staging point. Analysis of the SA reinforcements' inbound vectors was underway.

Thesstria's space defenses had been mainly galactic standard technology - useless. They set course for Thesstria nonetheless, hoping to sweep the smaller frigates and corvettes in their wake, and draw out reinforcements as had been done before. This time the fleet was significantly larger: the huge Vectivus, eight Munificent-class frigates, two Venator-class Star Destroyers, and twelve superhumanly tough, lightly armed little Consular-class frigates with the Charger c70 refit.

Chris thought it over for a moment. "If so many have thought attacking us, clear on the other side of the galaxy, is a bad idea... Then how did it come to pass to begin with? How would we go about to getting them to change their minds or getting your friends into action against this?" Chris, being a Shorapka Pilot, isn't just charged with fighting a war, but looking into ways to prevent it through other actions and not just being on the front lines. What Kelen was saying, if it were all true, could put an end to hostilities and a full blown war.

"You once asked if I had power... Power can take so many forms. I'm no mere human as i'm sure you can tell. I pilot one of the most advance vehicles in the Systems Alliance, if not the Galaxy. My orders and command give me the right to act in the best interests of the Systems Alliance. If you know of a way to end this now before it gets out of hand, I can make it happen."

"Mere human?" Kelen chuckled. "Some Sith look down on those without the Force; I've always found it a ridiculous distinction. Or maybe you mean something genetic...there is something about you that isn't quite normal. Something in how you stand or move or smell; I'm not sure. But if that's what you mean, you'd better put it out of your head right now. Because I'm a mere human, and so are my people, and any hint of superiority or powerplay will result in a bloodbath unlike anything you've ever dreamed out here in the backwater. My intentions are honorable, but I'll do what I must to protect my people.

"Now that that's out of the way...I won't bother insulting your sense of operational security by asking you about your vehicle. I saw it in action; it was a little hard to miss.

"I'm not sure you understand that we're a dictatorship. The Dark Lord says jump, and unless we're ready to win or die, we jump. As to his purposes in attacking you...again, that's a matter of operational security for us, which could get my people killed. So I'll hold off on that, no offense.

"As for how to stop this war, I have only one suggestion. Wait until you are contacted by the people who care about what happens to me. When they do, evaluate them. Find out what they value. Find out what help they need to make this work, and in the meantime..." She trailed off. "Look. If they're satisfied with you, they or I may tell you what the Centrality's purpose is. At that point, we may be able to cut a deal that would temporarily halt hostilities in return for your help in deposing Darth Sarastro."

Again Fadin and Kalo-Kaa looked at each other.

"You have to understand something about how we work," said Fadin. "I used to be a Darksider, and we encourage that sort of conversion. We have some Darksiders, but they obey the law, and they act much like our Lightsiders: they use their power for the good of the Jade Empire. How many people have you killed? Do you feel bad about it at all?"

"Never meant it as a insult or to wave "superiority" over anyone. You asked if i had power and I gave you my answer." Chris listens to Kelen talk about their Dictatorship and such. Semi confused she had to ask, "If its a dictatorship then what purpose does the Council have? Also your operational security on the reason your attacking us is already costing you lives, and our people as well. The Systems Alliance doesn't take kindly to being attacked or invaded. Your people can't possibly wage a war so far from your own space and hope to win. I'm not trying to demean you or your people but its as simple as logistics."
Chris waited a moment, in thought, then asked. "Is there a way for me to contact them? Or send a signal that they would respond to? Your friends that is."
"This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode."

"You say you feel no guilt because you did your duty...but you said you murdered your Master because you felt like it." Fadin grimaced. "This isn't a healthy attitude, and it's-"

"Inconsistent," growled Kalo-Kaa - the first word he'd spoken. His accent was thick: Basic was not his first language, or even his second. The huge Kartanin leaned forward. Fadin was skilled and experienced, but Kalo was in his early middle age, the Jade Empire's most dangerous Force user by far. "This is inconsistent. Unless you say you killed your Master from duty, which you did not say. I am sure of this. You are lying to us, boy."

"The prime rule in the Centrality is ultimately power," said Kelen. "The Council as a whole could depose the Dark Lord, but truly they are so divided that they spend most of their time playing at politics with each other. To be assigned to the Council is to have great prestige and the ability to overrule any Sith who is not of the Council, except for me. You see, I'm one of the two leaders of the Central Command Operatives - every Knight bows to me, and my orders come only from the Dark Lord or a majority of the Council."

She eyed Chris for a long time.

"I never said our Dark Lord meant to win a war. But anything beyond that must wait until you're contacted by..."

A look of surprise crossed her face; an instant later, alarms blared.

"They're here. Varanin and Kharonos. Much sooner than I thought - they must have been in the neighbourhood."

The ship that dropped out of hyperspace right on top of the Systems Alliance flotilla was tiny, a Clone Wars-era Consular-class with the Charger c70 refit - a tough little warship, smaller than a corvette. But this was no ordinary Consular ship; this was the Sojourn, the ship that the Jedi Order had used to visit Force traditions across the galaxy, including the nearby Aing-Tii Monks. How it had come to be in Sith Empire hands was anyone's guess.

Aboard were two Sith, both Masters, both rather young, in their mid-twenties. One had his strength from being a well-educated prodigy. The other had hers from chance, from cultivating strange associations, from having bad things happen to her. She had never asked for power; she had been no prodigy as a younger woman.

The man, who wore a white-lacquered mask and a breastplate, engaged the comms unit.

"Systems Alliance fleet, this is the Sojourn, representing the Empress of the Sith Empire but not the Sith'ari Centrality which has attacked you. We understand you have captured one Kelen Adwar. Our assumption is that she has either cooperated or killed you all. Presuming you are alive, we would like to talk with her."

The tiny ship continued on; its shields weren't even up, nor were its turbolasers powered.

Resen got near Kalo Kaa.He whispered to him.''You dont know what i have suffered from...i killed that man as thousand more Siths have killed their master! But i killed many mans obeying my masters orders...sith menta condition is not easy to understand..if you were me..if you even were a Sith...you would be in a position to understand it...''

He glared at him analyzing him the way the Siths feel and act.''This is the difference a lightsider cant feel..duty...and emotion in the same person..with different results..''

Kalo smiled without humour. "I think I understand. We of the Kartanin call this the feral path." And to a Kartanin Forcer, even an exiled one like Kalo, nothing was more disgusting. He knew Darksiders of honour, who controlled themselves; he considered many to be friends, whether they were former Darksiders like Fadin or current ones like Matthe'i Salphoris. But nothing was more dangerous, nothing needed to be eradicated more than a feral Darksider.

Fadin's eyes went wide. "Kalo-Kaa, no!"

The huge Kartanin Lightsider drew his sabre and attacked. Fadin held back, unwilling to intervene. Kalo was a powerful fighter, easily the most dangerous in the Jade Empire, a master of Djem So's solid moves. The small room was a deathtrap.

Resen took his two makashi lightsabers curved hilt lightsabers out and smiled at him not losing his concerntration.

''Are you sure you want to do this?I am not here to fight with you but help you?''He said being in a defensive position waiting the possible attack from the Kartanin. But if he was attacked he would much like to slay the Kartanin.

When the alarms went off they were more from the SA ships in the destroyers hanger then from the ship its self. If any of the SC personal thought it might have distracted the SA troops and the Huntresses they would be disappointed. In fact they took on a more aggressive stance and were more alert then before.

Chris was surprised by Kelen's look when she felt her friends, till now Chris didn't think the woman showed any other emotion then impassive or maybe anger. Chris activated her comm unit, "Endeavor?" The Admiral cut in before her ship could reply. "Commander Founder, I'm told your with Kelen Adwar. The "Sojourn" wish's to speak with her. They claim to be with a separate Sith faction then the one that has attacked the Anari. Regulations on this are clear, if they wish to speak with her they need to wait till she is processed and released from Intel. But I want to hear what you have to say about this."

Chris looked at Kelen. "I believe the sooner we allow them to speak, the sooner we may be able to end any more conflict. Intel isn't likely going to do better with any sort of interrogation then what I have anyway. This all seems very delicate at the moment, we make the wrong move and any shot at ending this with out more blood shed will be lost." The Admiral was silent for a moment. "Then I'll leave this up to you and your crew. Contact me if you need any other resources and don't worry about the paper work. I expect a comprehensive report when this is all over."

"Understood, I'll be in contact sir." She waited a moment. "Ma'am?" The voice on the comm unit was now someone from her ship. "Send a shuttle pod over and have the Jupitris top us off on supplies. Also tie me into the "Sojourn's" communications." Chris muted her comm after she got an affirmation. "I have a question, You were clearly surprised that they showed up already. With your claims that there are those who don't support this assault in the Sith, could this mean they may have been sent by those to spy on the strike forces that has/will attack us?"
"This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode."

"That's my belief, yes," said Kelen. "Either that, or they simply happened to be nearby. Varanin in particular has always had contacts in Wild Space and the Unknown Regions."

Chris' comlink crackled.

"Commander Founder, I presume? My name is Kharonos. May I speak with Kelen Adwar at your convenience?"

"The Kartanin consider the Feral too dangerous to live," said Fadin sadly, "and I have no authourity to intervene. We Patriots are bound by law to obey due process, but Kalo-Kaa and I are members of the Household Guard, and we have a higher oath: to defend the Jade Empire from people like you."

Kalo grinned, and it was all tooth. Two Makashi sabres meant that Drake couldn't make strong blocks against the powerful slices Kalo would unleash; Drake would have to rely on finesse, deflecting or dodging strikes rather than blocking them full on. The huge Kartanin knew he himself couldn't overcommit to any block, or Drake would use some little flick of the blade or just stab him.

But he'd fought Makashi people before, and Jar'Kai people too. Many of them. He had been trained by a Makashi master, and even though he himself favoured Djem So, he knew how to fight against it.

He lunged for Drake, and it soon became clear that despite his ferocity and power, he was a careful and skilled duellist. Not for nothing was he considered the most dangerous of an order that included many of the ancient Jade Worlds sai'mrai with their curved swords. He attacked Resen with no intention of a long duel - he was simply trying to kill the kid, because that was his duty.

And Fadin, too sad to join in, realized that Kalo was by far the more powerful duellist. If the kid didn't run, or turn the tables somehow, he would die.

"Adwar, this is Kharonos."

"I hear you, Kharonos. Identity code Aurek, Aurek, Quelfalas, Tarcosi, Duinuogwuin."

"Identity confirmed. Identity code Santa, Vaca, Motal, Besh."

"Identity confirmed. Go ahead, Kharonos."

"What's your status?"

"We're being treated well. I've been explaining some of the intricacies and possibilities of Council politics to the Commander here. I've told them you'll want to meet with them."

"All in due time. For now, what's your assessment, Kelen?"

"They want this war done just as much as we do. I'd say give them what they want."

"Agreed. You don't have the authorization of a Council majority, but I don't need it. Commander," said the voice of Darth Kharonos, "the Dark Lord was impressed by your particle beams and battlesuits at Mon Calamari. Your pocket superweapons also excited some interest, but they're...less portable. The only goal of this incursion is to capture particle beams and battlesuits. I won't demean you by suggesting you let them fall into his hands - after all, you don't truly know which side I'm on, do you. Nevertheless, technology is the reason the Centrality's forces are here."

"Well that seems to make some sense. But why do it with an invasion? Do they hope it be faster to capture wreaks then to try to infiltrate our society?" She blinked then sighed. "Answered my own question it seems." Chris thought for a moment, Well its seems that odd bit of information we got was true, that the Sith may be patient with long term plans but if there is a easier/faster way they will go for it. They aren't willing to put time and money into developing their own new weapons, or they don't have the money... But this dark lord seems to think the loss of thousands of personnel and military material is acceptable.

"Well we know the why now, so how do we put an end to this with out simply handing over our weapons, because I can guarantee that is NOT going to happen."

Kelen coughed.

"You should also be aware that standard procedure is to keep low-level wars going for a little while, or have several of them, to keep our military forces in shape. Neither goal is, by itself, enough to justify the cost, but together..." She shrugged.

"We believe we can get the support in the Council to force Sarastro's hand," said Kharonos. "The Council has one member officially on site with the invasion; we'll take care of him. We'll get on this quickly...in the meantime, continue fighting. Another couple of defeats like this one and the expedition will be in disgrace, and that will help immeasurably."

"I would guess telling us where the staging point is would out of the question... If we suddenly attack it in force then they would know we had outside help, likely from the inside..." Chris thought for a moment then a wicked smile crossed her face. "How would they react to a "intercepted" distress call from a SA warship?"

"Your tactics are your own," said the voice of Kharonos, "but remember this: fight to punish, fight to humble, but if you fight to eradicate, the greater Sith Empire will step in. Too significant of a humiliation, too great of losses, and the Sith Empire's pride is at stake. Do we understand each other?"

Chris raised a brow. "Your people come and attack us unprovoked to steal our technology and you want us to go easy on them or your whole empire will come down on us? You people sure do have some gall. We will respond to this hostile act as we would any other time. If your really going to make a move to end this sooner and go home then its really on your shoulders how much damage is done to the strike force. We will defend our selves and if your commanders are too stubborn to surrender when given the chance, well... That's on them isn't it? So long as you understand that then yeah, we understand each other."

Chris took a moment then ask, "Do you need Kelen to pull off what ever your planning to do? If so i may be so inclined to release her. Or she can come with me... I know someone who might like to meet someone who is trained in the force as she is, despite using the "dark side"."

"Commander, we are Sith. Gall is exactly the appropriate word. But we dislike waste - of your people as well as of ours. Rest assured we'll be doing what we can on our end.

"Kelen is free to remain - if I know her, she'll be wanting to meet your people as much as they want to meet her.

"Kharonos out."

The little ship turned around and jumped to hyperspace.
