Path of the Skywalker: New Beginnings OOC

Post by Pryde » Sat Nov 15, 2014 12:54 pm

Sooo, I'm going to take a queue from Nich and Mir and repost this thread. Same basic premise as before, flying around the galaxy looking for potential Jedi, except this thread is going to focus more on new characters. I'll still have a few old ones, though, Arilyn is still chief medical officer, Faye is back in command of the ship, Elena and Tsiv will still be on as instructors but the focus is mostly going to be on introducing brand new Jedi. Kind of like the new Jedi temple thread right now but the age range is going to be a bit older, closer to Ahsoka Tano's age from Clone Wars.

Aaand we're back. No real plot in mind yet but I'm coming up with something. Something involving some kind of dark Jedi or dark Force type, um--thing... Still going to focus on new Jedi, though. Well, not really new Jedi so much as less experienced Jedi like Tsivoin, Sky and others. There's going to be a major threat in this thread but Kalja Leidias, Daer'Gunn, Derek Muir, Faye Ward, Ethan Voss or other big named Jedi aren't going to be around to fight it. This thread is going to be about the younger generation growing up and maturing into the heroes the galaxy needs them to be.

Are you looking for others to join in on this thread? I like the premise and what I've read thus far.

The XO's kind of a hard ass, nothing personal. He pretty much talks the same way to everybody.

I don't want to get too far ahead of Vague so I'm going to hold off on posting for a bit until he's had a chance to respond. Then we'll land on Tatooine and the adventure will begin.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the patience...

I'm on active duty with the military in Europe so sometimes my free time disappears and it can unfortunately take a bit of time before I can get back here to post.

No worries, dude. I get to listen to my older brother vent all of his complaints to me about how life is time consuming in the service every time he comes to visit from Fort Bragg.

Something tells me that as soon as Nova and Tsiv get to Mos Eisly, our ships are going to get owned.

That would be awkward. Mos Eisley has a space port so if our ships get owned as soon as we get there we might still be in them. :P

No worries Pryngles, I've been struggling as of late as well. If I beat you to it I might plus up my last post a bit!

We do need a starting location. No idea where your girl is at right now so a little more to do with her might help. ;)

I think my next post was going to elaborate more on the pirates boarding the Skywalker. Don't really have anything in mind for Nova and Tsiv yet so plussing up will help heaps.

So would this be a good (see Fortuitous) time for the Twins to make their arrival?

Is it bad that I had to look up my character page on the Wiki to remember what color her lightsaber was? ><
