Sivter's plan: bring the galaxy to its knees through fear of an unstoppable army of Charon.

Turon's plan: bring the galaxy to its knees by drugging some high school students and/or cutting up people at the mall.

Everybody's got to start somewhere. :oldrazz:

Really enjoying the story though. I'm tempted to have Clara cameo at some point and have her pick Caitlyn up one day instead of Isis for some reason. Mischief follows.

Drugging high school students is all xfiend, Turon isn't involved with that at all. I just threw him in for fun, well mostly. I do have some great ideas for him.

Oh well, I'll probably do a few more posts at the charity dinner so if anyone wants to jump in with a character feel free.

Okay, I've got to do a cameo in this, but I'll make it interesting. Pryde, you get to choose. Who should I bring to the party, Clara, Kalja, or Dorval?

Why not all three? They all arrive in the same limo, how's that for interesting? :P

On a more serious note, though, Dorval may actually be the most interesting of the three but it's up to you, Halo. ;)

I know the feeling. Really sucks when that happened. Last time it happened to me, I had to save my browsing session (Firefox is awesome that way), but then when I restarted the session I accidentally killed the restore session I had stored... which included a half-written post.

I should note that I've only been in one raid, I'm just kinda basing this on a weird combination of that experience, my many huge UO events, having made up N'evar, and some sort of absorbed knowledge about how raids work.

It's weird, I've detailed N'evar more and more in my head as I go along. For whatever reasons, physics seems to be important and also health seems to be harder to recover than in most modern MMOs, though damage is harder to take/come by... odd. It seems like a mix of Avatar (which I haven't seen), every online game I've ever played (with lots of UO touches, like items you can drop, and crime in town) a mash-up of every magical or technical RPG ever, and a heavy dose of the book REAMDE, which was the inspiration for the "using the game to transfer illicit funds" idea.

I think it would be great if other characters revealed that they were playing N'evar during downtime.

Normally I would be all over this MMO stuff but it's kind of fun writing for a character that doesn't care for it. :P

Also, I'm kind of toying with the idea of Caitlyn's sister having an account. It would be kind of funny. ;)

I figure Isis might be dabbling in it a bit on her spare time. She won't be a very high level at all but I imagine it gets kind of slow and boring at the office at times... At least when you compare that to her old life of racing around and chasing bad guys. ;)

You realize that this pretty much demands a cameo from Clara at some point, right? I'm sure she'd cause some kind of disruption just by picking Hirai up from school.

Speaking of Hirai trying to be normal, at some point Clara really needs to bring her to Taanab to meet the rest of the Molariou family...

(BTW, nice nod there to Clara and Isis with Hirai looking better than Caitlyn in her uniform. Maybe it’s something in the Molariou genes… :oldrazz: )

Now all of the drug monies have been stolen! Yay!

Also, it was supposed to be in there that the thief is locked inside the bank vault and cannot get out at the moment. That was mistakenly edited out.

I'll get to it later. We have a beer festival in town today so I shan't be posting, and if I do it will be late at night and incomprehensible.

NEXT POST: The man behind the thief and the jock with a secret meet at last! The dramatic showdown between Lurg Hurgling, Billicent Hylandia, and the Electro-Ghost of Garrett Granth!

Hey Pryde, can you edit your post so that the Jedi is found hanging from a building that is 130 stories instead of 30? I just want the building in question to be the GGPC / GNN building, so that my post makes sense.

All you have to do is add a 1!

...just wanna say that I finished my post, I'm just waiting on that edit yay or nay. If it's quite important which building the Jedi is hanging from, I can edit my post, but if not, it's ready to rock with a Jedi from the 100th floor.

Sooo, I was bored and wanted to write something. I know I jumped ahead a few days in my post which makes it seem like Grant, Satvan and Lem have been playing their game for like a week or whatever but I figure you can wrap up that story at your own pace and we'll account for the timeline paradoxes later. ;)

Speaking of someone used to dealing with Sinclair curses, would this be a good time to have Clara drop by and pick up the girls from school? She needs to share the news of Mogon's return with Isis at some point, so this would be a good way to do it.

And it's story relevant since Isis leaving with Clara would mean Caitlyn has less support to rely upon...

Not sure if now is a good time for Isis to leave, I had planned on her jumping in to save Hirai later since Caitlyn won't be able to do it. Though, Clara could show up to that too, maybe. Basically, what I had envisioned was that Grant's plan to kill Turon with a rail gun would fail, then he starts to Force Choke Hirai and just before she passes out Isis and a squad of Republic soldiers drop down from a shuttle flying overhead. The alternative is having Caitlyn jump in and save her, blowing her cover but I don't think I want her identity revealed until the end.
