Hey, I was looking at our avatars and a question came up to me and I was wondering if you could lent me a hand here and reply some of the high stuff hehe.

So, would be possible to increase the pixels scale of our avatars making them a little bigger? Or not why? Some tecnhical thing? Thanx!

Not wanting to cause anything just a question that personally came to me.

I think we went with the scale we did to maintain a uniform standard of avatars. It was decided about 10 years ago when we first started, and it's just what we've kept. I'm sure that there's no technical reason to keep it at the standard that we chose; it's just changing it might throw off the formatting and scale a bit. I know we want to keep the focus on the writing and not distract from that, given some of the discussions we've had about allowing images in our signatures.

I'm a member of a forum that holds no avatar size restrictions. It'd be very... distracting... to have them much larger than they currently are.

Can I have my avatar get the frame your avatars have?

You'll have to apply it yourself in paint, if you want it.

Or Photoshop.

'Cause Paint sucks.

Simple. Take one of the avatars that has the border, edit out the image in it, and slap the new one in its place. Or over it, if you don't feel like erasing. Whatever.

And you're done.
