Re: Crucible: Gods of the Arena

Unlike Dorval, Kroda was thrilled with the idea presented. It was not because of Asael and Verax squaring off against each other for the last time. No, this opened a door that was previously closed to him, a way out of his predicament with Blackthorne. "I accept your terms," he said calmly, "but onl...

Re: Crucible: Gods of the Arena

Cadden had been summoned to Toruk's chambers the day following his near success at killing Asael. The Hutt had expressed his desire to allow Cadden what advantages he could in the upcoming mystery fight. As he took his place in the chambers a holo screen flickered to life, showing the arena with thr...

Not in Mir's favor: Mir will light House Frazier on fire if given the opportunity and a getaway vehicle.

Re: Crucible: Gods of the Arena

It became immediately evident that their opening maneuver was a mistake, as the Barabel had already chosen his first target before the match began, negating any advantage they would have otherwise had. Parjir was the first choice, and Choruk swore quietly to himself as the Barabel began his advance....

Kroda was furious. The Hutt had hurled many objects of various interest at his staff and servants over the past several minutes in response to Blackthorne's spectacle in the arena. Dahdtoudi had chased Baloran through the sectors of Nar Shaddaa until the trail ran cold in the Red Light Sector. Dahdtoudi grimaced at the idea of looking for his quarry there, but what other choice did he have? If he gave the Twi'lek any kind of lead in this chase, then the game was likely to be o...

Cadden felt different, somehow, since the fight against Shorbecca. Something had awoken in him that had never been there before. Not as Darth Trayus, not as Mandalore, nor a mercenary, bounty hunter, or even soldier for the Empire. Not even as a Jedi, if one could have ever called him such. He certa...

Re: There are some weird quirks with the forum...

The "display: none;" code fixed the drop-down issue, but, of course, there's still nuances that need to be addressed before we can re-activate the old style. Might just be easier, at this point, to wait for an official release, I'd think. I browsed their current demo database, there really isn't any...

Re: There are some weird quirks with the forum...

I will try to get a fix worked out this weekend. I've been training this week with limited Internetz access. Hopefully it's as simple as Arch's theory. If not, we'll just have to wait for the author to update it. I'm not well versed in CSS to dig that deep into this. I'd probably break the forums, k...

Re: There are some weird quirks with the forum...

I'm doing training this week, but if I have time I'll look into it and see if I can find a fix, or figure out how to fix as suggested. I was thinking there must have been some kind of update that was applied, as well, but fixing from a cell phone isn't exactly ideal.

Re: Crucible: Gods of the Arena

Kroda was furious over the match's result. Asael had been mortally wounded and, in his stead, Blackthorne had risen to something of a legendary figure. To add insult to injury, the crowd wasn't chanting his champion's name. No, instead they were shouting out for the Mandalore. Asael's chances of ret...

Where there had previously been one man, now there were a good half-dozen. It had been a few hours since 2X-RX had finished the surgery on Cadden. Kroda's audience chamber upon Kresh Lorda was extravagant, yet highly functional. "Lord Kroda," Eelar announced, "you have a visitor." Kroda hummed in curiosity but permitted the Duros to allow the newcomer visitation rights. Eelar bowed and nodded to the door guards, and after a few seconds a familiar Hutt glided in on her grav sled. "Ah, Zietra," Kroda said, "What brings you he...
